This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 15th day of August, 1928, in accordance with request made by Mr. [195].

Time of Reading 1:00 P. M. Eastern Standard Time.

1. GC: You will have before you the body and enquiring mind of [4666], and the drawing on dresser at … St., … Ohio, of new type motor. This motor consists of circular tank “F” in which is suspended air Drum E. Suspended by one ball bearing on each end. Bearing A and Bearing B. Drum E near each end is encircled with gear which are fitted in pinions all included in water tank “F”. You will answer questions I will ask.

2. EC: Yes, we have the enquiring mind, [4666]. Also the drawings on new type motor. This, as seen, following out the lines of that presented for different application of same force manifested or radiating from the first principle, just as has been given concerning that seen by [4666] and [195]. This may be made to operate, giving more power in different direction. As has been given, this should be rather the outcome of developments through that being already attempted, than to, attempt this before the first is complete. Ready for questions.

3. (Q) Will this type machine radiate more power than present model? (A) In certain directions, as given. Respecting that as would be to flying machine, or to the character that would be off of the earth, it would. To some others, no.

4. (Q) Is 2” clearance between lower end of gear and bottom of tank enough? (A) Not enough, as we see.

5. (Q) How much should it be? (A) 3 1/4” at least.

6. (Q) Would it be better to make this type motor and get patent first, finishing old type thereafter? (A) As given, this had best be a DEVELOPMENT FROM the first type, than to attempt this first and leaving other to last; for it will be working over ground, see?

7. (Q) Should slots in sprangle wheel be in form of curve instead of straight? (A) In curve.

8. (Q) What entity gave [4666] this new model? (A) Clinton.

9. (Q) Regarding the #1 and #2 drawings in the letter which I hold in my hand, is not shape of cam guide more as in figure 1 than in figure 2? (A) More as figure one. As was given, this something or near in the form of the eight; that is, the upper end, or the end - one end smaller than the other. So then the first, as seen.

10. (Q) What Clinton? (A) As given. George De Witt Clinton.

11. That is all the questions.

12. We are through for the present.

R1. 8/19/28 Mr. [195]‘s letter:

”…Have done a lot of studying on the motor and the reading confirmed some changes that I saw one morning. These changes

• the changing of the sprangle wheel slots from straight line to curved lines - the change from the shape of the cam, etc. These changes necessitate redesigning the whole assembly, also the whole system of attaching leads to the cam and sprangle. I will work this out in connection with [4666] during the coming week and then after we have this all drawn and designed, we will (before making up) have to ask you for another reading. The new parts will be very expensive to make, and before getting them we wish to avoid as many mistakes and future changes as possible. The new motor will have more chance to operate and I am in hopes that we at least get a model, though not perfect, one that will at least function…”
