Accessories) This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 15th day of August, 1928, in accordance with request made by self - [195].

[Edgar Cayce; Mrs. Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno. Mr. L. B. Cayce and Dr. Thos. B. House.]

Time of Reading 5:10 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. …, Ohio.

  1. GC: You will have before you the body and the enquiring mind of [195] …, Ohio, and the association or connection with Mrs. David Patterson of Ridgefield, Conn., Mr. E. E. Hewlett and the Gray Estate of Evansville, Ind., whereas [195] advanced money to Hewlett on contract from Mrs. Patterson for accounting in Gray Estate. This being closed. You will answer questions as I ask them.

  2. EC: Yes, we have the body and the enquiring mind, [195] - this we have had here before.

  3. In the physical forces of the body, these we find show some improvements from that as we have had - yet NOT as much as there should be, for there are still indications of accumulations in the system that - unless the proper conditions are set in motion in and through such channels, or those similar, sufficient to relieve same, as have been given, there will continue to be detrimental results from same. HAVE these removed, as given.

  4. As respecting the relations with Gray Estate and advancing of money to Patterson in settlement of same, those conditions or portions of same we have had here before. These at one time reached that point where settlement was ready to be made, and where there had been a portion of same paid in, yet - on account of selfishness, or the desire to hold out further - this was or has been delayed.

  5. Now there should be a call for the ACCOUNTING of this as HAS BEEN paid on the administering of this estate. Ready for questions.

  6. (Q) Would [195] do well to call on Pattersons and try to effect settlement? (A) Through this manner would be well for [195] to call on Patterson; for, as has been given, there was a time when this could have been settled amiably, and near properly, or in accord with that as was first set forth when a portion was paid. So this would be the channel to proceed in. Not that of irrational manner, but as is in keeping with good fellowship, good judgement, and equity among all - or equality among all concerned.

  7. (Q) At this time? or wait until Gray makes settlement on pending matter? (A) At this time, so that there may not be the occurrence of that as before.

  8. (Q) When will this pending matter be settled? (A) In September.

  9. (Q) Would [195] better leave his claim for arbitration? (A) Better to go in person, as has been given. Then if necessary for arbitration, why this may be reached later - but the personal CONTACT, the personal obligation that goes with such, is not unmindful - in the other party.

  10. (Q) Will Hewlett desire [195] to call on Patterson? (A) CALL ON PATTERSON, irrespective of Hewlett.

  11. (Q) Will Patterson agree to arbitrate? (A) Eventually, yes.

  12. (Q) Any further advice or counsel that will assist [195] in this matter? (A) Follow those lines as have been given. In that manner as has been outlined, approach the subject with Patterson - see?

  13. We are through for the present.
