EC: Yes. Now, we find while conditions are not satisfactory, still there has been administered that which has assisted in part. Were conditions taken in a different way and manner, there might be assistance brought to the physical forces of the body. Under existent conditions, however, changes could not be made at the present time that would be beneficial. We would carry out, then, that being administered, with the understanding that there must be aroused within the physical forces of the body that which will bring to the consciousness of the individual, [4478], that DESIRE TO be in accord WITH the forces that will bring resuscitation to the body. Giving, then, the heart stimulants that are necessary to keep the physical functioning until there may be the consciousness brought. Do that. When changes have come about, and there is the desire from the individual for the better understanding of the relations with self and the universal forces, these may be given.

We are through for the present.

Reports & Follow-up
R1. 10/20/28 Mr. Thomas B. Brown’s letter: “Your letter and the reading on [4478] arrived. The reading is very interesting as the child at times seems possessed with the devil or some other entity and it was this that the reading referred to. The girl is ten years old and gets heart attacks… I gave the mother an application blank.”
R2. 10/23/28 Letter from Thomas B. Brown: “Referring to [4478]‘s diagnosis, the [4478] couldn’t get a thing out of it. There is nothing tangible to work on - it merely said what had been administered had helped in part. I find that they have had many doctors and many different prescriptions, besides some kind of mental suggestion. The latter is only a supposition on my part. I wish you would take another rdg., giving a set of questions and how mother can assist body - from my understanding it looks as if this has gone pretty far and the only thing that will be of assistance now is for the girl to regain her better relationship with the physical forces before body can be helped physically. Have drawn up some questions and trust you can get another reading at an early date, as the girl is in a bad way. I think a reading as I have asked the questions will advise fully just how the mother can be of assistance also will give something to help cough and the heart.
“I had expected to run on down to New York yesterday but have been hard up in bed for a couple of days. Should Doc Lydic be able to do me any good I may run on down East for a day or two the latter part of this week. [Letter written from Dayton, Ohio.]
“With kindest regards to all,” Sincerely, Tim
