This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at the office of the Association, Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 12th day of May, 1941, in accordance with request made the by the self - Mr. [1956], Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

[Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno.]

Time of Reading 3:50 to 3:55 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. …, Tenn.

  1. GC: You will give me the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:

  2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1956], this we have had before.

  3. AS we find, there are great improvements from those conditions as we have had here before. While there are periods when there is the reverting to some tendencies of old disturbances, owing to weaknesses and the lack of keeping properly balanced in the chemical reactions of the body, we find that we would keep good conditions for this body if there would be the occasional use of those applications as we have suggested.

  4. For instance - now - we would have an occasional osteopathic adjustment; that is, once a month, or oftener if it is found needed - by the one making the adjustments.

  5. But at least once a month have a good, deep treatment; relaxing and stimulating (for both characters of treatments are needed) through the lumbar and sacral areas, or the back - that at times across the kidney areas and below gives some disturbance. Also stimulate the circulation through the throat and the head.

  6. Then, if there are the needs for those properties indicated to be taken when such treatments are given, use same for a short period.

  7. These are the manners to eliminate not only the effects of the disturbing conditions but also the causes.

  8. Ready for questions.

  9. (Q) Do I have to watch my diet as closely as I did at first? (A) Not so closely, but it will be found that when there is a reverting to those things that do not supply sufficient elements, disturbances arise. Hence we would watch the diet rather well.

  10. (Q) How is my back? (A) Better, as has been indicated; but with the adjustments once a month or the like, or twice during one month rather close together, these should keep much better conditions.

  11. (Q) How is my throat? (A) Much better.

  12. (Q) Heart? (A) This shows an irregularity, but very good - much better than it has been.

  13. (Q) Lungs? (A) Lungs are very well.

  14. (Q) Any further advice? (A) Do those things indicated, and we will keep the better normal conditions for this body.

  15. We are through with this Reading.
