-
GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:
-
EC: Yes, we have the body here; this we have had before.
-
As we find, conditions appear to be more aggravated; owing to those disturbances which have come about in relation to the adhesions through the intestinal or caecum and the lacteal duct area.
-
Hence there is more disturbance with the eliminations, more disturbance from the incoordinations in the sympathetic and cerebrospinal system.
-
As we find, - we would have more, and yet more, of the heavy Castor Oil Packs. We would have these at least two hours each day for three days.
-
On the evening of the third day, or morning of the fourth, take internally two tablespoonsful of Olive Oil.
-
Have the Packs heavy with oil, - and these should be applied over the caecum, lacteal duct, and extend - of course - up to the lower portion of the rib area, especially on the right side.
-
The Olive Oil taken afterward - after the third day of the two hour daily application of the Packs - is to cleanse the system of those activities brought about by the Packs, see?
-
Follow this procedure EACH WEEK.
-
Also each week, following the three-day series of the Castor Oil Packs, we would have the adjustments made in the lumbar axis and coordinate the rest of the spinal system, and especially with reference to the 2nd and 3rd cervical.
-
We would also massage, or knead gently, the areas in the lower portion of the liver and lacteal ducts.
-
These done, and the Packs used every week, as we find, offer the better aid and help for this body.
-
In the matter of the foods, - keep away from sweets, as well as meats that are heavy, or red meats, or rare meat. Fish, fowl or lamb are preferable as the meats, but these WELL-cooked (and not fried).
-
Do that.
-
Ready for questions.
-
(Q) Should he be encouraged to work? (A) Not systematic work, until much longer periods lapse between the seizures.
-
(Q) Are glands infected? (A) Rather, as we have indicated, it is the intestinal tract, or the glands of the assimilating system that are affected, by the adhesions.
-
(Q) Is there any mental or spiritual upset aggravating this difficulty? (A) Not as we find, other than that of the physical nature; though of course the incoordination appears between the mental AND the physical.
Do as we have indicated, for the better conditions of this body, [1980].
- We are through for the present.

Reports
Reports & Follow-up
R1. 7/60 In Dr. W. N. Pahnke’s breakdown of 96 cases of epilepsy from the Edgar Cayce records he noted the following:
Case [1980] was classified in group 1 both from the reading itself and from the good history supplied by the mother. Diagnosis can be made as grand mal epilepsy. The treatment did not seem to give improvement but from the correspondence it would appear that the treatment probably was not carried out too well. Dilantin was also tried but that did not seem to help either.
R2. 6/74 GD’s note: Mrs. […], a conferee this week at A.R.E., said she was a friend of [1980]‘s mother, who was concerned about what was going to happen to her son when she passes on. Although the son himself is an old man now, he has always been dependent on his mother.
