-
EC: Yes, we have the body here - this we have had before. In many respects we find conditions have not retrogressed; rather a tendency for at least a resuscitation equal to the used forces of the system. While there is little more response in the resuscitation of the whole or proper coordination between the lens and the optic forces in vision, these still - as we find - have periods when there is a reaction tendency towards a clearing up or bettering of the condition.
-
We would keep much of that in the way of eliminations that has been given, in the iodine fume baths - followed by the witchhazel and alcohol rubs. These may be alternated, if so desired, and we would take at least ONE such bath each week.
-
We would also keep the manipulative measures; not too much as JUST adjustments, but a thorough manipulation, beginning from at least the 3rd or 4th dorsal to the whole of the cervical region; ESPECIALLY those in the cross nerves and muscular forces of both front and back of neck.
-
We would also use the double eye applicator from the violet ray over the eyes each evening. Following same (that is, this should be given just before retiring), use those properties of the scraped irish potato as an ointment over the eye itself. Be sure that the eye is closed, and use sufficient to fill the socket or indentation of eye itself, with a bandage put over same for the evening; or it may be taken off early in the morning. Following the removal of same, be sure that there is a cleansing of the eyes with a weakened solution as an antiseptic eyewash, see?
-
In the use of the Degnen’s lens, these we would use often but not at a long period at a time. Twenty minutes - three to four times each day; that is, we will say - of mornings after the meals, see, take for twenty minutes. Let the body rest after same and keep eyes closed, or lids closed, during the treatment, and AFTERWARD - for almost the same length of time. Then at ten-thirty or eleven for twenty minutes again. At two to two-thirty use twenty minutes again. At four to four-thirty use twenty minutes again, see? Then we will find responses.
-
We would keep near the same character of forces in the diet.
-
Medicinal properties that have been taken or given the body, these we would keep.
-
At least once each month have a COLONIC irrigation, where that the whole of the intestinal tract - especially the colon - is cleansed.
-
Do that. We are through for the present.

Reports
Reports & Follow-up
R1. 7/7/31 Letter: “My condition is about the same. Feeling good, but not able to see any better. Do you still give readings? Whatever became of the Hospital? Is it still in operation? Do you know anything about Dr. Lydic’s address? If so, send it to me. I want him to fill out some papers so I can apply for a Blind Pension, for we are certainly having a hard time of it, as there is no work of any kind here… Will send your sweat cabinet home one of these days. Tell Gladys I received her letter but have no money to subscribe for anything.”
R2. 7/31/31 EC answered his letter giving him the information he wanted, and: “I still feel that you should be able to get the proper corrections to enable you to regain your eyesight, and that you should have done so long before this.”
