GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for the further improvement of same. You will answer any questions regarding this body I may ask you.

EC: Now, we find there are some changes in the conditions as need the most correction in this body. While, seemingly, there is more irritation, this, as, we see, is that necessary for the retraction, to begin, and with other added conditions we will find we will bring the more normal condition for this body, see?

Now we would, for this condition in the eye and eyelids, apply STILL those applications of the old irish potato, well scraped and applied a bandage about the eye, see? this used at least once each day, taken off and cleansed in mornings, see? Then apply the milkweed, the milk from same - that that grows on the ground as parsley grass, see? The weed needs be gathered fresh each day. It’s found growing near here, see? Broken - the milk from same rubbed on (gently, of course) the eyelids, see? This, after having remained for an hour to an hour and a half, cleanse again with that cleanser as given, see? and then apply (before the irish potato is applied in evening) those vibrations of the Violet Ray, using the eye applicator, see? This should be applied at least for ten minutes, see? Not steadily, but taken off and then applied again, taken off for a second or two, then applied again, but keep at least ten minutes vibration. Do this, and we will find we will continue to bring improvements to this body, [20].

(Q) What should be done for the wild hairs in the eyelids? (A) As the eyelids are healed sufficient that these may be taken out - or, as we will see, the milkweed will take these off, see? The vibration of the Violet Ray will bring healing forces to these portions and remove this condition. Do that, as given, for at least four to six weeks, each applied once each day, see?

R1. 11/12/25 Sister’s letter: “My brother [20] followed the first part of the suggestions given in Mr. Cayce’s reading [20-1]. The second suggestion [in 20-2] he refused to comply with, stating he felt no good effects from the first reading of Mr. Edgar Cayce. He lost his faith. With my faith and my prevailing on him to continue with the suggestions of Mr. Cayce, he absolutely refused to continue with the readings. I am indeed sorry and very much disappointed with my brother’s refusal. For myself I was very hopeful that Mr. Cayce’s reading would be a great benefit to his eyes, that his eyesight would be restored.”
