This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at the office of the Association, Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 28th day of April, 1942, in accordance with request made by the mother - Mrs. [1947], Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

1. GC: You will answer the questions regarding this body, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have those impressions of those disturbances or conditions as we have had before. Ready for questions.

3. (Q) Should she be submitted to any of the inoculations that are to be encouraged next month, - typhoid fever, small pox, diphtheria, and whooping cough? If so, which? (A) Those in their order, - the small pox, diphtheria AND whooping cough; but in their order, not all at once.

4. (Q) Is a tonsillectomy advised? If not, what treatment? (A) Unless there is a great deal of change, as we find this would be most advisable; provided the condition of the blood supply is taken into consideration at the time of such an operation. This we would have before it is too warm, but be sure the blood supply shows correct balance in coagulations.

5. (Q) What further treatment should be applied for her eye condition? (A) A gentle massage given of evenings would be very well for this body; not necessarily by a doctor but the mother may apply same - if it is done CONSISTENTLY. But don’t begin it unless it is to be done consistently for at least five days out of a week, and then it may be left off five days, and then repeated. This would be a general massage of Cocoa Butter in the area from between the shoulders to the base of the brain.

And give the body PLENTY of celery, lettuce and carrots. have some of these in the meal each day - both raw and cooked carrots; as well as lettuce and celery being a part of one meal each day.

6. (Q) Has her general condition improved? (A) It is developing, but these particular areas or conditions should be cared for - else there may be hindrances in some directions; especially of the tonsils.

7. (Q) What causes urinary disturbance at times? (A) The general eliminating conditions and the corrections with the other portions will aid in correcting this, as would the massage. There is a close association between kidneys and eyes - don’t forget that!

R1. 8/5/42 Mother [1947]‘s letter: “The children [[2004] and [2005]] and I are very happy at camp this summer - all of which was suggested to me in the beginning by a reading, as you may remember. I still don’t see any signs of marriage [remarriage] as mentioned by the last two readings, but I am not losing sleep over it.”

R2. 2/18/43 Mother’s letter: “I certainly wish I had a chance to tell you some instances in which the readings have made REMARKABLE SUGGESTIONS: i.e., I have just been given A university assistantship to teach physical development officially in the High School, which I would NEVER have done if the readings hadn’t started me in that direction! Then how…before a tonsillectomy for [2004] they warned her to have a coagulation test. I asked for it and the doctors pooh-poohed it - and wished afterwards they hadn’t! and so on.”
