This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 30th day of November, 1939, in accordance with request made by the self - Mr. [2039], Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc., through Judge Francis Borrelli.

Time of Reading 3:55 to 4:00 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. …, Ill.

1. HLC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions he has submitted, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes.

3. As we find, the outlines as indicated for the body are in order.

4. There was the administering of too great a quantity of the properties indicated; and THIS - in the FORM taken, and in the MANNER taken - caused the upset.

5. For THIS body, as indicated, the properties in the Jerusalem artichoke should be taken not more than once a week; and alternate the manner in which they are taken. One week cook same, - this means one about the size of a hen egg, see? and this to be cooked in Patapar Paper until it is done, but not overdone, - but mashed in its own juices and eaten. The next week it may be taken raw, - one about the same size, you see. But do not take large quantities. And this is to be taken with OTHER foods, as a part of the meal, and NOT alone, see?

6. Then follow the other suggestions - ALL of them, and not just part, as has been done in those applications even as has been outlined. These have only been partially and not wholly adhered to.

7. DO as indicated, and in the manner indicated, and we will bring the better conditions for this body.

8. Ready for questions.

9. (Q) Why is the body losing weight, having lost about eight pounds? (A) It is the natural consequence of the lack of the building foods within the system; and the following of the outline as we have indicated - if there are the other administrations - will GIVE these to the system! Take it all and not just part!

10. (Q) Are there any other changes recommended? (A) We would not make changes as YET. Do these things for the present conditions, and in the manner indicated.

Dear Sir:

We are going through our files endeavoring to bring our case histories up to date and will greatly appreciate your giving us a report on your physical reading, using the enclosed report form.

We are particularly anxious to know just how accurate your reading was in analyzing your conditions and the results you have obtained. For example, were the following points in the physical reading correct? - Condition of anemia, tendency for the body to lose weight, inflammation of the mucous membrane at times in the throat and in the soft tissues of the head and face, congestion in the liver. These and other points are subject to confirmation by you.

We note also that in the opening sentence of your reading there is a peculiar remark, “has a nice big tree”. We wonder if you can tell me whether or not there was any particularly large or beautiful tree near the place where you were when the reading was given. This represents, as you can well under stand, an unusual type of clairvoyance, and this particular point is just an interesting check-up along with the details of your Physical reading.

We are sure that you will be interested and will recognize the importance of our Expansion Program, which is outlined in the enclosed leaflet.

For over 15 years, we have been keeping detailed and accurate records of all of my father’s readings and feel that a real scientific study and presentation of his work depends to a great extent upon the thoroughness of these records and the study that is made of them.
