HLC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:
-
EC: Yes.
-
Conditions as we find are rather serious.
-
While there may not be a great deal of interference, with the applications that are being administered, we find that suggestions may be made to those administering to the needs of the body as to the proper basis of the disturbance, - which presents the symptoms manifested through congestions in the body, and the leakages or hemorrhages occurring internally.
-
We find that this is due to the lack of ability for coagulation, and a form of anemia which has impoverished the walls of the arterial circulation.
-
Hence it is necessary that this as the basis be considered, in minstering for the needs of the body in the present, - and that something be done to assist in the coagulation.
-
We would suggest the bovine blood, or that injections be made from same, to assist in stopping those conditions through the lungs and through the soft tissue of throat that are giving so much trouble, as well as the effects from these of the nausea and temperature.
-
Do that.
-
Ready for questions.
-
(Q) What is cause of this condition? (A) Read what has just been indicated! It is the lack of the ability for coagulation, by the thinning or the impoverishment of the walls of the arterial circulation.
-
(Q) Is there anything else you would suggest? (A) This is the basis from which the reasoning should be given; for necessarily this must be considered and administered by those who are ministering to the needs of the body under the present existing conditions.
Do that.
- We are through for the present.

R1. 5/26/40 Sister’s letter: “I want to thank you for your prompt attention to my telegram. So far have found that it is correct. Will try to give a little more detail later…”
R2. 10/19/40 Sister’s letter: ”…Concerning my brother [2206]. I must confess that I let my heart run away with my head there. He was very sick and I asked for a reading without his consent or should I say knowledge. As I wrote you he had all the symptoms that you said he would have. But his wife thought I was (to use slang) cracked, and wouldn’t even consider doing the suggestions. But I did persuade him to go to Dr. Smith, an osteopath. I am sorry that otherwise the reading came to naught, except for the satisfaction of myself. Now he is back to work and he has gained back all but eight lbs. of what he lost. Whether the condition is still there or not, I cannot say, as he says he feels alright. Of course the medicine that was given to him at the time may have speeded up the condition for the time. I don’t know. I will give you a case history on him and maybe you will understand that better. Dr. Smith [Arthur E. Smith, D.O.]: Anemia; coagulation, 4 minutes; hemoglobin 60; blood pressure 114-118, going up; elliber [?] O.K., Maltex tonic, O.K.; Liver and gall upset; vomiting; spleen tonic. Dr. Rothrock’s [Rothrock, M.D.] report: soreness of flesh on top of head; backache; Peculiar sensation in head; violent sickness in stomach; temperature 101; sulfulmide; codeine; white corpuscles high; blood pressure 110; head hurts, sick on stomach; white corpuscles high; condition not improved. At home; sick on stomach, weak; blood pressure rising; hemoglobin rising; stomach better. Visited doctor 3 times.”

R4. 6/31/52 Miss [1747]‘s reply to questionnaire:
The Doctors didn’t know what was wrong with him. But when he gave him the reading he said it was Anemia, they thought (at the hospital).
I don’t know how many treatments he had, but the Dr. gave him a blood tonic, (I mean Dr. Smith) and he got better. Dr. Smith has been quite interested in the Ass’n work.
No, he has never had a return of the condition.
He is quite skeptical of the work. His wife is very much so. But for me and the fact that he was so bad he decided to try Dr. Smith. At the time he was ill, the doctors gave him Sulfa drug until he turned blue. They admitted that the condition was Anemia - and they were shown the reading. After following Dr. Smith’s treatments, including tonic, etc., he got much better. He has had no return of the condition of Anemia - but is very susceptible to colds.
