This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 2nd day of November, 1940, in accordance with request made by the self - Mr. [2207], Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

Time of Reading 10:40 to 10:50 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York City.

1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have had the body here before, [2207].

3. While we find there is much to be desired, as yet, the general physical forces are improved from that as we have had here before.

4. The general circulation, the abilities of assimilation, - these are improved; and we need to be patient, persistent, consistent in those applications that have been suggested,

5. While the quantity of the Atomidine may be increased somewhat, we would increase it in the length of periods it is taken, rather than in the dosage; that is, let it cover a longer period - say, half again the period it has been taken, during each month or series, but not increasing the individual dosage. For we do not want to overtake this.

6. Its activity is to purify the glands, and with same we need also to purify the alimentary canal, by the change with the diets that will make for better assimilation; and then the rest of those things suggested should be followed the more persistently.

7. As may be indicated, while there is the improvement, keep same so; but do not OVERDO it, - that is, to cause an upsetting of the balances being created.

8. Know that all healing must come from within, and that is of a body-building nature.

9. The applications or administrations suggested are merely to induce the incentives for the coordinating of the functioning organs of the system TOWARD the improving of conditions.

10. Do that.

R1. 11/5/40 Dear Mr. Cayce: Thanks for your friendly letter following the second reading which I have received and found most instructive. I felt that benefit will result from following the recommendations over a long period. Shall be happy to receive word of your meeting in New York; and if there are not other people more in need of an interview, I should like to meet you personally! Sincerely, [2207]

R2. 3/8/52 He requested a copy of his rdg., which was sent with a questionnaire.

R3. 4/15/52 He replied: This will acknowledge with thanks receipt of your letter dated April 10, 1952, enclosing copies of Mr. Cayce’s readings of May 11, 1940 and November 2, 1940, together with a questionnaire. I did not know until your letter arrived yesterday that a check reading had been made; and I am, of course very glad to have a copy of it. Enclosed is 3.00 for cost of the copying work, and 2.00 for the work of the Foundation.

While I would like to cooperate in the program of the Foundation in filling in and returning the questionnaire, I do not feel that it would, in this instance, be useful to do so at this time. The facts are that due to a combination of circumstances existing for several years after the reading was first received, I was unable to follow the indicated advice except partially, intermittently and for a relatively short period of time. There was even a period when I was unable to obtain a supply of Atomidine from the pharmacies at the place where I was then residing. For some years now, I have not used Atomidine, nor followed the other recommendations of the reading.

However, I shall try to obtain another supply of Atomidine and follow the directions regarding the vegetable juices. If in the future it appears there is a definite report I can make, based on such treatment, I shall be glad to do so.
