This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 19th day of September, 1937, in accordance with request made by the husband - Mr. [1005], Active Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

Time of Reading 12:15 to 12:25 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. …, Va. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [23].

2. As we find, conditions are not so well as when we last had same. Too much activity has caused a bruising through the pelvic area and thus brought on the flow again, which is at its normal period.

3. In the present we find there is the tendency for clotting, owing to the weakness of the system and the attempt to adjust itself.

4. If the flow continues after this evening, then we would find - to insure the proper position of the organs, to prevent an infectious force being too prominent in the condition - curetting would be necessary for the condition.

5. Keep the body quiet. Have not hot but warm applications that there may be the tendencies for the clotting to be lessened rather than increased by those inclinations that have been made for the stopping of same.

6. Massage gently across the small of the back with the combination of the properties as we have given. Then a warm, not hot but warm, heavy flannel - two, three, four thicknesses - even if this is saturated it would be well - placed across the back. Well that a little be across the abdomen, of course, but the heavy across the back so that the application of the heat is more to the organs from their activity with the rest of the system.

7. But if the flow continues after the evening, on the morrow we would have the curetting done. If this stops, then it would not be necessary.

8. But for it to clot and to cause a stoppage so suddenly would insure that there were indications of infectious forces arising.

9. Ready for questions.

10. (Q) If curetting becomes necessary, would Dr. Waller Taylor of Virginia Beach be alright? (A) Dr. Taylor is very efficient; would be well.

11. (Q) Should the flannel be saturated with the combination of Mutton Suet, etc., as given before? (A) As has been indicated; this would be very well. But massage gently with same before. This is to prevent the clotting if it is possible.

12. (Q) Would an osteopathic treatment be of any help? (A) Would not be of any help.

13. We are through for the present.
