GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with further suggestions for corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:
-
EC: Yes, we have the body here; this we have had before.
-
As we find, conditions continue to be on the improve in the general physical conditions.
-
The acute pains that come at times indicate that life or nerve activity in the optic forces is also becoming more active. There is some scum or skim over the eyesight or eyeball itself. This of necessity must be and will be better absorbed than by other manners or means of removal.
-
We would keep the administrations that have been indicated, especially the sweats occasionally, and the massage. This, save occasionally, might be done by the electrically driven vibrator.
-
But at least twice a month there SHOULD be a thorough, deep osteopathic treatment.
-
When applying the violet ray, be very sure that the eye pocket or socket is dry, and not too strong a current turned on - but keep this regularly - not more than a minute each time.
-
In the application of the electrically driven vibrator, use the cup applicator. And this instead of being slided along should be lifted and then pressed, but of course close; that is, it will require some time to make the application, but will be effective if given in this manner. And give this especially throughout the whole of the cervical area; while it should extend the full length of the spine, but more particularly give at least four or five minutes to the cervical area, and extend this up back of the ear and down the side of the neck, upon either side, even around to the temple from the ear. This will be very well. Every other day for this would be sufficient. It would require at least thirty minutes or more for each treatment.
-
The diets would be kept rather in those lines that have been indicated, though of course altering according to the seasons. And use as much fresh vegetables and fruits as practical.
-
Ready for questions.
-
(Q) Should some vision be evidenced soon? (A) It should be by the latter part of June or July evidence of vision - THIS year.
-
(Q) Any further advice? (A) Do these, for the better conditions of this body, [2302].
-
We are through with this reading.

Reports
Reports & Follow-up
R1. 1/13/43 [2302]‘s wife’s letter to EC:
“Your book has been received some days ago - sorry to have been delinquent in sending the money.
“I have been so very busy lately; have not had time to read it, but I know I shall enjoy reading it very much.
“Mr. [2302]‘s health is very much improved, we think, gained in weight and looks better than he has for many a day.
“We have not been over to Dr. Richardson’s for the treatments for some time; he had about seventy treatments.
“To be confidential, Mr. [2302] just did not cooperate, keeps himself at such a nervous tension all the time, we felt all the treatments were in vain. He just worries over things he should not. Anyone with his disposition is hard to deal with; just feel like he is really responsible for his vision not returning.
“He says he has not become reconciled to being blind and until he does see he will not feel any different.
“I have tried so hard to cooperate in every way and just do the right thing. I feel like my efforts are in vain and why try any longer when he does not do his part.
“I could really talk to you better than I can write, would be [good] to see you but owing to transportation it is impossible at this time.
“Thanking you for all your help, and if you have any suggestions to offer, please let me hear from you.”
R2. 1/14/43 EC’s letter to [2302]‘s wife:
“Thank you for yours of the 13th with enclosure. I hope you find the book worthwhile. I believe there are some parts of that as would give Mr. [2302] encouragement, and change that attitude he has. Yes, I realized the last time we checked up, that there was a block somewhere. I do hope he will meet this now.
“Thank you very much and do get in to see us when it is practical.”
R3. 5/23/46 [2302]‘s wife’s letter:
“I carried out all of Mr. Cayce’s readings to the best of my ability and Mr. [2302] did improve physically but his sight has never returned.
“Mr. Cayce recommended going to Dr. Richardson which we did. He gave him about fifty treatments. The war came on and my daughter did not have gas to take the car to Norfolk and could not take her father over to him.
“I do think Mr. Cayce was a wonderful person and helped so many people who were so ill. Possibly Mr. [2302]‘s sight will return in time to come with the treatments he has had.
“I do hope this will be of help to you, and possibly you can fill in the questions I did not, as I did not know just how it should be done.”
