This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 13th day of March, 1941, in accordance with request made by the self - Mrs. [2415], Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

Time of Reading 11:05 to 11:10 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. …, California.

1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body, [2415].

3. As we find, there are the reactions more from neglect - in being consistent and persistent with those suggestions indicated - than from other causes.

4. Owing to the necessary activity, the body tends to neglect itself. This should NOT be done.

5. When there is taken the hot sponge or tub bath, massage thoroughly over the spine with Pure Peanut Oil - from the base of brain to the end of spine. This may be extended around the area of the diaphragm and across the chest. Rub in thoroughly, for this will give strength and vitality. We would do this at least once each day, - but it is well that the body be relaxed from the hot water or the bath before this is done, so that the pores are open and the body muscular forces relaxed.

6. Then keep all of the other things as we have suggested.

7. Continue the Atomidine and Violet Ray in series, as indicated, but DO have the rubs each day.

8. Ready for questions.

9. (Q) Should anything further be done for my right side and back? (A) As we find, heat with these oils, and the following of the suggestions as given, are the better applications.

R1. 4/1/41 Letter told of [2321]‘s death, then: “How is Mrs. Cayce and the boys, also Gladys? We do not want to lose contact with you. As for myself, I’ll now start in with my treatments and rest, so I know I can get well.”

R2. 1/22/42 She wired for a Physical Reading for her little granddaughter, [2663].

R3. 1/24/42 Letter: “We are all working in some way on the defense program. Mine is knitting for the Red Cross.”

R4. 7/45 She wrote reporting on various members of the family (see under 2663-1, 2688-1 and 4825-3 Reports), not having heard of the death of Mr. and Mrs. Cayce. GD.

R5. 7/20/72 Daughter, [948] wrote: “Mother [2415] is still living (age 88). She had a stroke in 1957, a few months after Dad’s [4825] death (emphysema & heart). As a result her speech has been affected (the wrong words come out) also in her writing. So it has been a long siege of frustration. She lived with us until with [2663]‘s illness, I couldn’t give her the constant attention she had to have. So, now she lives in a residential-care home with lovely ladies and the best of care. She is ambulatory, confused at times (arteriosclerosis) but physically sound, in a frail way. I see her about 3 times a week, bringing her to my apartment on Sundays…”
