This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Artic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 28th day of December, 1935, in accordance with request made by the self - Miss [243], Active Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

[Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno.]

Time of Reading 3:10 to 3:20 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. …, Tennessee. (Physical Suggestion)

  1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [243]; this we have had before.

  2. In some respects we find the general conditions show some improvements. In others the tautness in the circulation causes distresses through portions of the body; mainly in the locomotory centers, as from the 4th lumbar to the secondary cardiac plexus.

  3. While there is such a tautness, there is still the superacidity - or the lack of the proper eliminations and distributions of assimilations through the alimentary canal.

  4. As we would find in the present, in making the corrections that have been indicated in the cerebro-spinal system, while we would relax the upper dorsal and cervical area, we would also make for a stimulation for drainages through the 9th dorsal; and making for specific corrections in the lumbar axis. And we would find most effective the treating of the lower limbs and especially of the feet, especially the left foot, through bursae in the heel and in the central portion of the feet. Not too much at once, but this changed every other time there is the application of the treatments.

  5. Be more mindful of keeping the diet in order, as indicated.

  6. These, as we find, would bring the better conditions for this body.

  7. Ready for questions.

  8. (Q) Why the terrible soreness between my shoulders, and the ache in my heart region? (A) From the tautness in the lumbar plexus as coordinating with the secondary cardiac, as we have indicated.

  9. (Q) Why do I wake up every morning with such terrible headache? (A) Still this unbalancing; tendency for the slowing of the circulation and the fullness in the area about the heart’s activity.

Those relaxations as indicated in the upper dorsal and the cervical area, with a relaxation in the feet and lower limbs - especially in the axis of the lower lumbar, or the lumbar area with the sacral, should relieve these pressures and distresses.

  1. (Q) Please give me a diet list, or is the diet outlined by Doctor correct? (A) This is very good, as we find; though we find that it would be more preferable not to mix cereals with citrus fruits. And with the combining of the influences for the sweets or the carbohydrates, we find that these are more preferable combined with proteins than with starches. But the general outline is good. Alternate these so as to be at different meals would be more preferable.

  2. (Q) Am I getting the proper results from my treatments? (A) Not as yet, as indicated. These changes as outlined would be the more preferable, and we would get better results - less strain upon the lower limbs and upon the heart’s activity, and less of the headaches, if these are followed.

Keep the eliminations, though it may be necessary at times to have the colonic irrigations - especially to reduce those tendencies for the accumulations of gas, for the first few days after such treatments are begun.

Do these, as we find, for the present.

  1. We are through for the present.
