EC: Yes, here we have the body. We have this before, you see.
-
Now, we find there is a considerable difference in the body at the present time from that when we last had it here.
-
Now these are the conditions that we find this body:
-
First, we find THE BLOOD SUPPLYING FORCES not as strong as they should be within the system, the body being deficient in hemoglobin, it being affected mostly by the condition existing throughout the viscera. It is being impaired by the toxins that it takes or gathers from the condition that exists here, producing an impoverishment of the blood to a great extent, leaving a tired, debilitated feeling that comes over this body. Pain is shown if the the body stands long on its feet, from the condition that exists above, and the nerves that govern the locomotories are thereby impaired from the free circulation throughout the extremities. There is a tendency of a dull pain through the back part of the head at times, produced from the reflexes caused by the condition existing through the intestinal tract, where we had trouble existing at times.
-
Then we have the forces here, you see, that impoverish the circulation to such an extent to cause trouble without and within its reflexes to the nerves, muscular forces, and bring about disturbances as we find throughout the body. While the body is tired as far as the nerve forces go, we find it is easily overcharged by excitement or by sorrow, which brings or expresses itself by the action of the nerve forces throughout the whole system.
-
THE ORGANS THEMSELVES, we find, are very good in their functioning. The action of the heart forces, when we consider the condition of the blood supply, we find equal to or above the normal condition of a strong, healthy person.
-
We do not find this body sick entirely, or all the time, yet we find much of the effects of the condition, or of the lesions that are formed, and adhesions that have been formed throughout the viscera here, you see.
-
TO GIVE THIS BODY RELIEF, and to bring it to a normal condition, we would first take that into the system that would alleviate the condition, start the secretions, add to the blood supply forces by rebuilding within. Then we would so adjust along the whole length of the spine, by chiropractic forces, those impinged muscles and nerve fibres, as to release these to such an extent as to allow the body to keep in a better condition.
-
We would first take this into the system, and in the order given when they are put into a solution to be prepared:
Burdock Root…2 ounces, Yellow Dock Root…2 ounces, Prickly Ash Bark…2 ounces, Dogwood Bark…2 ounces, Black Snake Root…2 ounces, Elder Flower…4 ounces.
This is put into a gallon of water and simmered, not boiled, to make a quart. Then to this there would be added 4 ounces of Grain Alcohol, added while it is warm, with 2 ounces of Balsam of Tolu.
-
The dose would be a tablespoonful before each meal.
-
After this whole quantity has been taken, then we would by chiropractic forces make adjustments, for then we would find the body in a condition to receive the adjustments and for them to mend enough to do good to the body of [244].
-
We are through.
