This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 6th day of October, 1926, in accordance with request made by his mother, Mrs. [26].

Time of Reading 4:00 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. Mims, Florida.

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, and tell us the physical conditions at the present time, with suggestions for further improvement of same. You will also answer any questions I may ask you regarding same.

2. EC: Yes, we have had the body here before.

3. Now, we find in the general way and manner the body is constantly on the improve, and, as we eliminate those conditions as cause the hindrances, or clogging of the system in the elimination, and in the lightening of the condition as causes the tautness in muscles and in sinew, we will find the body will continue. We should keep those properties as have been given from time to time for the body in a consistent manner. Keep up those conditions in the medicinal properties that clarify the blood forces. Keep up the packs at times, that we may eliminate those conditions as centralize about joints. Keep up those of the eliminations as will be produced by the electrical forces and by the vibratory forces in manipulation. Keeping the diet consistent with the conditions in the body. We will find these will gradually improve and bring about better conditions for this body. Do that.

4. (Q) What causes the place on inside of the knee that hurts? (A) Still the accumulation of those of that of the liquid, or of the oil that nature provides between the joints having been removed, nature has got to restore same, see? and this swelling is caused by the system attempting to adjust itself through normal forces being created in the system. This is rather the nature of retraction. Hence that as has been given, that occasionally hot packs, the salt and vinegar rubs, the electrical treatment, the medicinal properties, the salts packs - all of these should be used from time to time, for the variation is what will bring about the normal condition for the body, see?

5. (Q) What causes the pain in the right shoulder? (A) Same condition. Poor eliminations through the system, and the change, as it were - retractions throughout the body. Hence that as is given, that the various conditions as have been given for the relief of the bone and tissue in portions of the system be kept, see? for by keeping the blood supply, and by keeping the eliminations, and by the rebuilding as constantly goes on in the system (for the body is yet in the developing), we will develop to a normal condition and rid the system of these abnormal forces, see? for will’s forces, consistent and persistent, must be kept, would the body-physical overcome that as is seen in the system - for, as has been given, well that the entity, mentally, spiritually, physically, take THIS attitude: That “Yet were He the Son, He learned obedience by the things which He suffered.”
