Time of Reading 4:00 to 4:10 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. …, Fla. (Physical Suggestion)
-
EC: Yes.
-
Now as we find, there are great changes in the physical forces of this body since last we had same here. Some are good, some we find rather mediocre, others we find show weaknesses and inclinations in different directions.
-
In the present we find that the weaknesses or poisons that have been a part of accumulations through the system show more in the pulmonary, the throat, bronchi and in the poor circulation.
-
Then, in making applications for this body in the present, we find:
-
About once a week we would have a thorough, general osteopathic adjustment. If this is impractical for the body, then have the hydrotherapy treatments - or the massage given at a hydrotherapy place.
-
When the osteopathic treatments are given, or the hydrotherapy treatments with the massage, be sure there is an emptying of the colon with high irrigations.
-
As a tonic, as well as an expectorant and cough syrup, to act also as an active force upon the digestive forces as well as eliminations, we would prepare a compound in this manner:
-
To 4 ounces of Water add 2 ounces of Strained Pure Honey (not synthetic honey). Let come to a boil. Skim off the refuse. Then when it is near cool, add 4 ounces of Pure Apple Brandy; NOT Apple Jack. Then, in the ORDER NAMED, add these ingredients:
Syrup of Rhubarb…1 ounce, Syrup of Horehound…1 ounce, Tincture of Stillingia…1/2 ounce, Syrup of Wild Cherry…1 1/2 ounces, Chloroform…10 minims.
-
Shake the solution well before the dose is taken. Take not by guess but by measurement; a teaspoonful every three hours when necessary.
-
In the diet beware of too much starches. No white potatoes. No white bread.
-
Do not take cereals AND citrus fruits at the same meal. Alternate these, but never take them together.
-
Take plenty of beef juice; NOT broth but pure beef juice.
-
The meats should be preferably fish, fowl and lamb.
-
Plenty of green vegetables but not cooked in fat; rather in their OWN juices.
-
Doing all of these, we will find the body gaining in weight, in strength and in resistance and vitality.
-
We are through with this Reading.
