This psychic reading was given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 12th day of January, 1935, voluntarily, at the end of reading 254-81, after he had said “We are through for the present” and after Mrs. Cayce had started to give him the waking suggestion. [See 254-82, Par. B1.]

1. EC: [Interrupting] [See 254-82, Par. B1.] Again we would insist that we have asked that it be taken as a study, as a thing or condition in the experience of mankind - that this organization may give much to the world on one particular disturbance that has baffled the wise and the foolish. This study on that called epilepsy - for THREE YEARS! and you will be undefeatable! [See 254-82, Par. R1.]

R1. 1/12/35 MD’s Note: When EC awoke he asked, “Huh?” Said he thought somebody hollered “Hey!” Considerable discussion followed as to ways and means of going about the research work on epilepsy. All concluded the cooperation of a doctor would be necessary, to follow consistently the treatments suggested on a case.
