This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at the office of the Association, Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 5th day of October, 1941, in accordance with request made by her step-son, Mr. [2784], and daughter-in-law, Mrs. [808], Active Members or the Ass”n for Research and Enlightenment, Inc.

1. (Q) GC: Regarding the [B Battery] Appliance, present in this room, which was used for [2567] my step-mother-in-law, and the drawings which I hold in my hand, please advise what was the trouble that the attaching of this Appliance caused a burn on the body? (A) EC: If this is connected correctly, in the manner as last indicated which indicated in the information itself, and that as connects to the body first connected as from the solution connection, you see, through the lead wire - it would not burn. This for this PARTICULAR body, as indicated, was set in the reverse because of the conditions.

For this body in the present, though, we would use rather the ultra-violet with the imposing or the injection of the green glass BETWEEN same and the body - during the period it is given. Do not use the Appliance if this is used.

Use this about every other day for a minute or minute and a half; especially over the area from the lower portion of the lungs to that across the hips. We will find this will reduce the pain and distress through affected internal areas.

R1. 10/17/41 Mrs. [808]‘s letter: “I ordered the green glass for the lamp for [2567] but don’t know whether they will let us use it or not.”

R2. 11/25/41 “I finally got the green glass for the lamp. Don’t believe we can use it on her, though, as she can’t move at all now and she is suffering so terribly that she doesn’t like to be handled any more than necessary… She told [2784]‘s brother that if he woke up some morning and heard that she had died, to get down on his knees and thank God for taking her. She really has no desire to live and fight it any longer.”

R3. 1/15/42 “[2784]‘s stepmother passed away Mon. at 12:20 A.M., 1/12/42.”
