This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 24th day of February, 1941, in accordance with request made by the self - Miss [259], Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

[Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno.]

Time of Reading 11:10 to 11:25 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. …, Ala.

  1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:

  2. EC: Yes, we have the body, [259]; this we have had before.

  3. As we find, many are the changes that are indicated with this body since last we had same here.

  4. Rather would there be warnings given, for in many respects there are very good conditions.

  5. Yet, with the positions or conditions in structural portions of the body, as indicated mostly in segments along the cerebrospinal system, we find that - with the inclinations or tendencies that might easily arise - these would prove most detrimental to the better physical welfare.

  6. Then, there are those conditions with the teeth that need local attention, - especially the impaction, for - with other irritations along the cerebrospinal system - it produces or is the source of irritation to the general nervous system.

  7. The tendencies for the twinges of headaches at times, also the inability for concentration without the change or position or activity, arise primarily from these sources.

  8. Along the cerebrospinal system we find a subluxation in the 3rd and 4th cervicals, which influences nerve reflexes to the eyes - and face especially, as to cause at times inconvenience or anxiety.

  9. In the 9th dorsal, or between the 8th and 9th, there is also a condition to be corrected. This is to the side, rather than a pressure together.

  10. Then in the coccyx and sacral area there is needed the more particular attention for correction. This makes for the easy tiring at times, and the expression through the activities of the lower limbs as well as in the organs of pelvis.

  11. With the correction we find that most all of these reactions would be better through the body.

  12. There has been some change in the position of some of these; but we would have these followed much more towards correct position of ALL segments.

  13. Thus we will find much better conditions for this body.

  14. That we would do.

  15. Ready for questions.

  16. (Q) Are these subluxations the original source of the present condition? (A) They are the original source of the present disturbances through the nervous system and the sympathetic reactions to functioning organs.

  17. (Q) Have the recent chiropractic adjustments been beneficial? (A) They have been beneficial, but there needs to be more perfect alignment.

  18. (Q) Should they be continued by the same one? (A) If that one will make the proper corrections, yes.

  19. (Q) Would mental strain thru business be a factor? (A) Rather the subluxations and pressures upon nerves causing the anxieties through the mental. The business or every relationship makes the body rather tense or irritable at times; also, just as indicated, the pressures in the teeth - or the wisdom tooth impacted.

  20. (Q) Should this be extracted? (A) Should be at least so that it may have better reaction; that is, it is entirely covered and needs either the opening or the entire removal.

  21. We are through for the present.
