This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 28th day of August, 1929, in accordance with request made by his daughter, Miss [4987].

[Edgar Cayce; L. B. Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno. Misses [4987] and Mildred Davis.]

Time of Reading Cayce Hospital, 11:40 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. Virginia Beach, Va. (Tell if advisable, under the existing circumstances, for this body to go to Asheville at this time. Are they taking any chances in allowing him to make this trip? If he should go, what precautions should they take?)

  1. EC: Yes, we have the body, [2597]. This we have had before. Also those conditions as surround the body, of every nature - especially that as relating to the contemplated trip, the mental and physical conditions as surround same.

  2. As has been given, the conditions of the body, physically and mentally, are such that such a trip would be the most satisfactory for the body, and the conditions at this time. The body PHYSICALLY able, PROVIDED the body MENTALLY is NOT so overtaxed by worry of others as respecting his physical conditions and of such worry taking the form of constantly reminding the body that it must not worry or overtax itself physically or mentally; for with the idea, and with the purport and purpose of the body, that it must take care, and that the trip is necessary for the best interest of those whom the body would, and whom the body has served, but that for the best interest of self - as soon, and IMMEDIATELY that the immediate needs have been attended to - the body must take care of its own physical strength and see that the recuperation is so completed in the same surroundings as it is at present, that the body will be then the better for MAKING the trip, but returning immediately. Warnings that do not worry the body by reminding it that it MUST not worry, or it MUST not do this or that. The body WON’T overtax itself. Ready for questions. We are through.
