This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at the office of the Association, Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 8th day of December, 1941, in accordance with request made by the self - [2621], Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

Time of Reading 3:55 to 4:05 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. …, N.Y.

1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [2621]; this we have had before.

3. As we find, conditions show improvements. While there is much to be desired, do not be overanxious nor make too great a struggle; that is:

4. Do not apply so much without giving all that which has been suggested the full and complete time to react.

5. Do have the treatments with the ultra-violet, and do have these with the green light interposed at all times. Do have a massage afterward with Peanut Oil - while the body is still on the table after taking the light.

6. This causing of the tingling sensation, as of being partially electrified when the body moves limbs, indicates the attempt of the system to replenish and react.

7. DO keep up the diets that have been indicated.

8. Keep ALL the treatments in the way that has been outlined.

9. Do not allow changes in ANY administrations until this course of treatment outlined has been given full consideration, for this will bring help - if there is kept by the body, and those about same, that prayerful, expectant attitude of using the strength, the abilities of the body, in a spiritually, mentally constructive way and manner in dealing with others.

10. Keep at that given. These applications will bring help, if they are consistently carried on.

R1. 1/30/42 Letter to EC: “This is [2621] writing, I am feeling much better. In fact I have been working for the past three weeks. I am not back on my own job, but have something which does not give me as much worries. I have found that I feel much better working and have been noticing an improvement daily. I have no more pains or itching and pray that I don’t get any of them back. The only feeling I have is a bad cough which causes me to throw up my meals at times. I am still taking my Atomidine drops and would like to know how long I am to continue. I am getting my massage treatments around my stomach without peanut oil. I have lost 30 pounds in all my illness and don’t seem to be getting any of the pounds back, but I can feel my strength coming back slowly. I pray daily that all that is happening to me continues, so that by the time summer rolls around I can enjoy myself like any healthy person…”

R2. 2/6/42 Letter to EC: “This is [2621] writing to let you know that the afternoon of the 9th will be alright for my reading. I will be at … I have a few questions to ask you. I am still taking the Atomidine and would like to know how long I should continue. I also have a cough that makes me give up my meals at times. The left side of my neck aches at the point between the ear and shoulder, there seems to be little bumps along that point. They don’t seem to get any larger for which I am thankful, for in the past I had to get Xray Therapy treatments, but I haven’t gone to the hospital since the beginning of my illness…3-1/2 months…”
