This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 5th day of April, 1938, in accordance with request made by the self - Mrs. [263], through Active Membership of her mother, Mrs. [303], in the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.
[Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno.]
Time of Reading 4:20 to 4:25 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. …, Virginia. (Physical Suggestion)
-
EC: Yes - we have the body here, [263]; this we have had before.
-
As we find, there are disturbances - or old disturbances, from conditions which arose from the birth of the child - that have become more irritated than we have seen indicated heretofore. [Her son, [415], had been born on 11/2/29.]
-
For the well-being, we would find the better measures to be taken would be the use of the operative forces FOR the replacing of the organs of the pelvis; which would change the pressures, the nervous tension, make for normal Period activities, and change the demeanor as it were of the body in many ways.
-
With such, of course, there needs to be great precautions taken. But these as we find - the corrective measures by operative forces would be better.
-
Ready for questions.
-
(Q) What can I do to improve my blood? (A) Eat right! that is, about a twenty percent acid to eighty percent alkaline foods! Beware of all soft drinks, or carbonated waters, or distilled drinks of any character.
-
(Q) Why do I have such severe pains and heaviness in my head? (A) Reaction from pressures upon the pelvic organs.
-
(Q) Are my lungs alright? (A) With the change in the nervous system, and then the precautions - and not quite so much smoking - we should not have disturbance with the lungs.
-
(Q) Any advice as to what doctor would be best to correct the conditions? (A) A gynecologist would be the better, to be sure.
-
(Q) The operative measures would be the better? (A) As we find, these would be the better. Though there may be the corrective measures osteopathically, and the packing, requiring a longer period; we find that owing to the scar tissue, and the DRAWING that has begun - from activities the more recent - the operative measures as we find would be the preferable.
-
(Q) Please give any other advice that is necessary. (A) Keep constructive in the mental and spiritual attitudes for the greater directing of desires, purposes and aims.
-
We are through with this Reading.
