This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home in Pinewood on Lake Drive, Va. Beach, Va., this 17th day of May, 1932, in accordance with request made by self - Mrs. [264], Active Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

1. EC: Yes, we have the body, [264]. This we have had before. Now, as we find, conditions are very good in the physical functioning of the body. While there has been at this period more eliminations than at some times, these are, as we find, the effects of those applications in part that have been made, respecting the changing of the vibrations, through the effect of the low electrical or the magnetic vibrations that have been set up in system. While these have not as yet caused, with the other applications that have been made, the whole turning loose of the plethora condition, these have made for less irritating with the eliminations. Still those precautions should be taken that there are not infectious forces in or through such periods. We will find that these applications, when made with the right hand nearer that plexus from which the organs of the pelvis receive their impulse, and the left hand or the negative over those portions where the conditions exist, these will make for such absorptions as to make a normal condition come about much sooner than would otherwise. While the period is so severe, this need not be given for such a long period, but should at least be given for sufficient period to set up that vibration that is created by the vibrations from the body so applying same, or for twenty to twenty-five minutes. In the regular period these should be for thirty to forty-five minutes. As to the time these are given, once each day is sufficient during the regular periods. When the periods are so severe, every other day will be sufficient - see?

2. Those properties that have been taken, that are being taken in the vibrations for the extremities of body, these we would keep in much the same way and manner.

3. We would not alter or change much in the diet, save that which will keep as much of the replenishing and rebuilding forces for the body as possible, or keep the replenishing above the eliminating, and we will not have so great a weakness and there will be the reactions the sooner from same.

4. In those applications that come through the holding of the meditation period, well that the body hold this:

7. (Q) Why does ash which is now being taken have an unpleasant taste? (A) This has not been prepared wholly just as the other has, but this will be found to be as effective. We would keep these up.

8. (Q) The dosage should not be increased as yet? (A) Should not be increased as yet. Let this turn loose first.

9. (Q) Should inhalant be continued as is now used? (A) When necessary for the clearing or clarifying of the mucomembranes in throat or head, use same.

10. (Q) Would it be just as effective for the magnetic treatments to be given at nine o’clock in the evening if the Glad Helpers hold her name during the eleven-thirty meditation in the morning? (A) This has been given, WHENEVER this is given - and it has been given what should be the meditation, or that held at the period of meditation.

11. (Q) Any other advice that will be of benefit to the body? (A) Do this at the present.
