This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 11th day of July, 1935, in accordance with request made by the self - Mrs. [264], Active Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

[Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno.]

Time of Reading Roanoke Cottage, 3:40 to 3:45 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. Virginia Beach, Va. (Physical Suggestion)

  1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [264].

  2. As we find, as was last indicated, precautions should be taken regarding conditions of which the body was warned; which have arisen and are arising in the activities of the body. As was given, there should have been the arrangements for the care of the body during this period. These should have been done.

  3. Then, to meet the conditions, have these cared for by one who may RELAX the body. Not a DEEP, hard treatment, but so relax the body as to make for a more UNIFIED circulation. And relax those tensions that have existed, do exist in portions of the body, as from the brachial center to the base of the head; the lower portion of the lumbar area and through the limbs; to overcome this tired feeling, this nausea, this tendency for the weakening of the conditions.

  4. Be very mindful that the diet relationships of the body are kept more towards those things that are body-building.

  5. To be sure, heat - but not too heavy a heat, like an electric pad across a portion of the body - will at times RELAX the body sufficient. This will not make for UNDUE activity if there is not too much strain produced in same.

  6. Ready for questions.

  7. (Q) How often should the treatments be given? (A) That depends upon the conditions themselves. It is only to relax the body. If the tautness occurs twice a day, relax it! If it occurs ten times a day, relax it! If it occurs once a week, relax it! See?

  8. (Q) Would Dr. Crews, or could Dr. Crews give these treatments? [Gena L. Crews, D.O.]

(A) Would be well.

  1. (Q) Should I take Ventriculin now? (A) This is a portion of the body-building and is well for the body.

  2. (Q) What is the condition of my right foot, and should anything be done for it? (A) The local attention necessary for keeping the circulation through same, to prevent any infectious forces, should be kept up.

  3. (Q) Any other advice that would aid me at this time? (A) Much advice! Heed that which has been given, and it’ll be more than advice! Take those applications to self that have been made so oft; these will aid the most IN application - see?

Do that.

  1. (Q) Is there any stimulant needed? (A) Stimulant is always needed where there is the tendency for the depressions. This will be helpful to the body.

  2. (Q) Is wine sufficient, or alright? (A) Wine - RED wine - is sufficient.

  3. That is all the questions.

  4. We are through with this reading.
