This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 3rd day of July, 1935, in accordance with request made by the self - Mrs. [264], Active Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

[Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno. [264] and L. B. Cayce.]

Time of Reading Roanoke Cottage, 11:40 to 11:45 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. Va. Beach, Va. (Physical Suggestion)

  1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [264]; this we have had before.

  2. As we find, conditions are somewhat improved from that as we have had here before. And now under those existent conditions where there may be the applications from the activity of the actinic rays of the sun, and sand, these should be very effective to making for the addition in the physical reactions for the eliminations of much of the disturbances.

  3. These should not be too severe, as we have indicated; and there should be those precautions taken during the time for the normal eliminations, and the care of the body - if these treatments are adhered to.

  4. First wet the body in the salt water, you see. Then let the body be covered almost entirely with DRY sand; not wet sand but DRY sand. Gradually, though, should this be done; that is, at first it would be only the lower limbs and the upper limbs, the arms and legs. Then gradually more and more cover the whole body; keeping the face in shadow or in the shade so that the reactions are not disagreeable. The pulsation caused by such activities is what we need. And do not keep in this too long in the beginning. For five to eight minutes at first. After a few days or a week, then increase it to ten to fifteen to twenty minutes. These should be of very great assistance.

  5. Keep the general activities as to the mental and spiritual reactions in those lines that have been indicated.

  6. Ready for questions.

  7. (Q) How long should I stay in the water at a time? (A) How long does it take to get wet? That’s the purpose, to get wet! Then make the applications. If it desires to wade in the water or swim in the water, light out! However much is desired. Just don’t overtire self. But for the treatments, get wet! How long does it take to get wet? Dip under like you are being baptized properly!

  8. (Q) Should this treatment be taken once or twice a day? (A) It won’t be able to take it more than once if it’s done properly! And after while it’ll grow tired of it, but don’t give up!

  9. (Q) At what hour of the day is best? (A) Dependent on the day! One day (as today) it might be best at nine-forty-five! Tomorrow it might be best at three-fifty!

Dependent upon the manner in which the SUN’S activities are. Should never be between the hours of ten-thirty and two-thirty. Either do it before or after.

  1. (Q) Should I take Ventriculin, or should any change be made in diet? (A) As has been indicated. Follow those suggestions that have been outlined, as to the application of other ingredients. As indicated, take the Ventriculin as the system demands same.

The body is sensitive enough, or sufficiently sensitive in the present to know the needs. It’s studies little else! Then apply that you know!

  1. We are though for the present.
