1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes.

3. As we find, conditions are not so serious as when we first had same, but those tendencies and inclinations, and those swellings in the lower portion of the duodenum continue.

4. We would consistently apply the Castor Oil Packs over the area, combined with the reducing of those tendencies for congestion that arise in the area from which this portion of the body receives the impulse for activity.

5. This will not only eliminate the disturbance but reestablish a better normal flow of energy, both as to impulse from nerve and lymph circulation through those areas.

6. Well to keep the body quiet at times, but there should be SOME activity for the body.

7. Ready for questions.

8. (Q) Please advise as to diet and treatment, if there is to be any change. (A) As we find, altogether a liquid diet under the circumstance tends to produce gas. There should be more of the colonic irrigations to cleanse the whole colon. But the diet should be rather of a semi-liquid nature, and almost predigested foods; such as beef juices, whole grain cereals well cooked, orange juice, and the like. These should form the basis, though not all the diet.

These as we find are the better for the body.

R1. 5/15/42 Phone request by daughter, Dr. […] - just want to check up on him. Everybody thinks he is better, except he says he doesn’t feel so good. Every case you have sent to me has been absolutely correct! My father is unhappy here; says he is not being helped, and if he’s going to die he wants to be back in Canada. So he wants to leave Monday, altho we know he is better.
