GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with further suggestions for corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:
-
EC: Yes, we have the body here, [2689]; this we have had before.
-
As we find, there IS improvement in the physical forces of the body, and in the sources or causes.
-
But if there is kept this attitude by the body, that there is nothing to be done and that it IS the end, then the condition will continue to give distress, and would bring about the being satisfied with giving up.
-
The reactions naturally are sympathetic in their nature.
-
It is true that the formation of gas in the lower portion of the duodenum, and even in portions of the jejunum, gives distress; it takes away vitality, it produces an “all gone” or “all over” feeling. But this need not NECESSARILY be those sources even that might or would bring about the separation of body and spirit.
-
While it is necessary to keep those stimulations or relaxations so as to aid in draining or alleviating this stress, by stimulation of those centers in the cerebrospinal system as related to hypogastric and pneumogastric nerve forces, it is also necessary - as we have indicated - to have the colonics occasionally to relieve this tension and prevent this strain that arises in the formation of inflammation, causing those impactions of distresses through the colon area.
-
We find that also an aid in relieving these distresses, provided the colonics and the manipulations are continued, would be to take internally after each meal half a teaspoonful of Milk of Bismuth stirred with five drops of Elixir of Lactated Pepsin in half a glass of water - about five to ten to fifteen minutes after the meal.
-
But we would continue with these applications suggested, if we would bring the better conditions.
-
And be more constructive in the mental attitude towards the general conditions, physically as well as of a mental, spiritual and social nature.
-
If there is the desire that this be the end, it may be. If there is a service desired to be rendered, it may be carried on.
-
Ready for questions.
-
(Q) Any advice regarding the diet? (A) This has been very good.
-
We are through for the present.

Reports & Follow-up
R1. 5/15/43 Daughter’s letter, reporting on other cases she was treating with EC readings: “Please accept my apologies for not sending this check sooner, it was simply that I am so rushed.
“I want to thank you very much for the help you gave me with my father. He died June 2, 1942, and the postmortem revealed the opening between the small bowel and the large bowel was almost closed (1/2 cm. in diameter) as you had stated in your reading in Feb. 1942 [2689-1].”
R2. 6/4/93 Letter from A.R.E. member, Evelyn Richardson, New Jersey Study Group Contact:
”…I visited Dr. Marion Dick [[2689]‘s daughter] who cured incurably blind boy following Edgar Cayce’s instructions about a month ago in Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania. She has ALL of her faculties but walks with a walker. She moved back to Canada now.”
