This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. J. Twigg, Utahville, Pa. (mailing address R.F.D., Smokerun, Pa.), this 6th day of May, 1923, in accordance with request made by himself, Mr. [269], via Mr. David E. Kahn.

Time of Reading 12:00 Noon …, Pa. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here. Had this before, you see.

2. Now we find the conditions very much the same as when we had them before. In some respects the conditions are not as well, though that producing the condition is practically the same thing, and the nature of the condition becomes aggravated at times. The conditions as given to remove these causes have not been carried out to the extent as given, see.

3. With the change of the assimilation in the system to produce the eliminating of used forces, especially, those about the centers as given will remove that which produces the condition and with the enlivening of the tissue as would be found in the medicinal properties and their therapeutic reaction in the system with the vibration violet ray] would bring the correct flow of blood to this body.

4. Do as we have given.

5. With the change at present we would alternate to some extent the first medicinal properties taken in the system. Give this:

6. To one gallon of distilled water add:

Sarsaparilla Root…3 ounces, Burdock Root…2 ounces, Yellow Dock Root…2 ounces, Sassafras Root Bark…1 ounce.

7. Reduce by simmering, not boiling, to one quart, while warm strain and add:

Grain Alcohol…6 ounces, with Balsam of Tolu…2 drams.

8. The dose would be one dessertspoonful four times each day.

9. Be sure the diet is such as to cause the perfect elimination through the intestinal tract. Drink plenty of water, enough to flush the system, both through the dross and hepatic circulation, see. After this has been taken, the whole quantity and the body rests for five days, begin with the soda and gold as given, see -

Chloride of Gold…15 grams, dissolved in Rain Water…15 ounces, with Bromide of Soda…80 grams.

10. The dose would be half teaspoonful in half glass of water three times each day. While this gold is being given in the system, thirty minutes after the last dose in evening is taken, use the violet ray] vibrations over the body to produce the correct vibration to the sensory system, especially, along the left side of neck and head, along the right side below the last cervical, along the spine, see, deep along the solar plexus centers, also, the lower lumbar plexus. Do that and we will correct the condition in this body here, [269], here in this room.

11. (Q) Now Mr. Cayce, upon fulfilling the treatment you have just given, how soon can [269] expect results? (A) After the second treatment with the violet ray the vibrations will show different in the body and with the gold as given, by the fourth to sixth month or moon the correct vibrations will be throughout the sensory organism of this body. Do as we have given.
