This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 24th day of January, 1928, in accordance with request made by self - Mr. [270].

1. GC: You will have before you the body and the enquiring mind of [270], and his business associations and relations, especially regarding Chicago City and railroad franchise. You will answer the questions which I will ask you regarding these.

2. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [270]. This we have had here before. Also those relations and those situations as regarding the Chicago City franchise. These conditions surrounding these at the present time have not changed since that as we had here before respecting the granting of the franchise, though - with the action of others and of the desire of others for the referendum, as is expected by some - this may cause some delay. At PRESENT there is not the chance for delay save by other individuals being won to the side of the laying over OF the matter until the opportunity is given for a referendum action. As to whether these will be won in sufficient numbers, no one can give as to what the action of a mind will be unless these are precluded by former actions. At the present it would be granted near the time as given, though as to whether others will be won - we would not give, or COULD not give from here at present, for these are actions of minds of individuals who are free-willed. Ready for questions.

3. (Q) Another question on the reading of Dec. 20, 1927, [270-11], about the west Texas Crockett Co. project of M. B. Wyrick and his associates, will the power of attorney given Mr. Wyrick by all lease holders be exercised in the sale of this property and the well? or is it best to plan on operations and marketing of the oil production? At this time can you say what will be the ultimate outcome including the return on the investment in dollars - will this be from a sale of property or from production, and when? (A) In these, it has been GIVEN that the sale should be the manner to handle the proposition. Again, as to whether this will be exercised is in the mind of a free-will BODY, and there may only be given that which would be the better PLAN for activity; for, as given, these operations should succeed, and the sale of well and properties should pay an hundred fold - yea more than that.
