This psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at the Washington Hotel, Room 1105, Chicago, Ill., this 30th day of July, 1924, in accordance with request made by self, Mr. [270].

1. GD: Now you have before you the body of [270], who is present in this room. You will give information concerning tract of land that he owns in Glencoe, Ill., Lot 5 Block 27 in Chicago North Shore Subdivision in Section 17-18 Township 42 North Range 15.

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here. We have this association with this tract of land. This we find is a subdivision and is one that will find there will be developed such that the property will be sold in the coming months - this year - month, October. There will be the offer for the property at a price that will be satisfactory, as it will be better than a 25 - be 24 1/4% - advance from that paid.

3. We find the titles to the property in order and transfers may be made on same in regular form. There are two channels through which this may be sold, the regular channel of the real estate and also that in a trade that will be offered to [270]. There has been some conversation. This might offer the better possibilities, save that investments of return for same would net more in the commodities that [270] has in mind to invest these proceeds in. Hence the cash valuations that would be in the exchange for the properties on 18th to 20th of October - this year. Would be advisable to stake and invest the amounts, as has been outlined by self and others [in [4905] project], and we will find that in the late part of year, in the last weeks of December, and the returns will be then more than forty fold.

4. Follow then in those lines, if we would bring the better results from the sale of this property.

R1. 8/6/24 He wrote: “This will acknowledge receipt of your communication of August 2nd [enclosing the reading], which I am, indeed, very thankful for and I am enclosing herewith my personal check for $10.00.

“When the matter referred to in this correspondence materializes, I will send you an additional remittance.

“I also want to say that I an very favorably impressed with your report.”

R2. 11/25/24 He wrote: “Now that the first of the year is about here and the conditions mentioned in your reading of July 30th, 1924 has not fully materialized, I thought it would be a good time to ask if you did not regard it as advisable to review and see of some intervening condition had brought about a change in this matter.

“The salient facts of your report were that inquiries and an offer to trade would be made. Both of these followed as you said they would, but the offer to purchase of the naming of a price acceptable has not been forthcoming.

“The fact that I am interested in Mr. Wyrick’s Texas project and wish to buy an additional interest, which I cannot do unless this property is disposed of, behooves me to suggest a check at this time and if you are agreeable to doing so, I will be more than pleased to receive your further report when convenient.” [See [4905] series.]

B1. 5/3/24 He wrote: “A few months ago I purchased [Dec. ‘23, closed deal in Jan. ‘24.] a small piece of vacant property with the expectation of later building on it, but subsequent developments now seem to preclude this action. For that reason I wish your advice regarding its disposition.

“Describe the location, and say if title is substantially clear. What would be the most feasible and quickest plan to pursue in selling? What price could I expect to readily obtain? In what month will sale be completed? I am quite anxious to dispose of this property at a reasonable profit.”
