This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 14th day of July, 1930, in accordance with request made the by self - Mrs. [2708].

Time of Reading 11:40 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York City.

1. GC: You will have before you the body and enquiring mind of [2708], present in this room, and the previous information given her, that she would meet her future husband between June and the 15th of July at Virginia Beach. You will please give us information as to why this has not materialized, and advise the body regarding same.

2. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [2708]. Also the information as has been given regarding meeting individuals. In this, we find the time element as barriers at times, yet through this association, through those whom the body has contacted, will, as we find, bring about this very condition which would have been impossible without the contacts made during this period, and there will be seen that the individual has been in and about the place; while not during the same period, yet the contacts, and contact, will be made in the changes. These vary according to those conditions as influence individuals in various manners, both as to the astrological, numerical, and the like. These, as we find, will come about. Keep that thought, and this will come to pass. Ready for questions.

3. (Q) When will the contact be made? (A) Very soon, as we find, in and about the places which the body will journey toward. These, as we find. Keep much in that same, as has been given - the body journeys on, and the individual seeks out through that association, through those contacts, through those influences as bring to bear in this present season - we find this will come about, say in the next thirty to forty days.

4. (Q) Along what line could the body work to adjust the Cayce-Blumenthal situation? (A) Along the line of those intuitive influences as may be brought through the entity, or through the body and the body consciousness, and in those of the counsel and of the various manners in which the body WORKS as an individual.

5. (Q) Is there any information you want to give the body regarding herself? (A) Keep those intuitions and what they stand for in every relation, as the body goes through the various experiences, whether of the mental, the physical - these are one in their SPIRITUAL essence, and the KINGDOM is within.

Hard luck, I suppose, is all you hear from me. I tried to get in touch with you when I was in New York, but couldn’t. You were either out of town or not in at the time.

In the change, and in the things that are happening - many of which you have sensed, no doubt, in a far better way than I can tell you - I am going to have to have - from some source

• a little personal aid. You have indicated that I must express myself. Please know that this is meant in the right way and manner. I wish I could see you and talk with you. It is impossible for me to leave here right at present. Are you coming this way any time soon? I had understood that you expected to be at Virginia Beach sometime this fall. Business, I am sure, has been not of the best - but I’m hoping that everything is working out right for you.

R3. 10/24/30 [2708]‘s letter to EC:

Dear friend -

I believe you realize I followed the advice of the readings, and financially it has proven disastrous, as R.K.O. - and Vanadium both have gone down. R.K.O. was to have a spectacular rise, so I bought 1500 shares at 34. That is down twelve points and Vanadium 40 points. Which puts my loss just in those two stocks around $58,000. The entire market was a sale rather than a buy, and I am wondering why, that information could not have been given. Then the March man, that was promised to make his appearance has never come to life, so naturally these different failures to materialize is indeed discouraging, not to mention expensive. My different readings there has not been any predictions come true, - and I am asking why?
