1. GC: You will give the relations of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces; giving the conditions which are as personalities, latent and exhibited in the present life; also the former appearances in the earth plane, giving time, place and the name, and that in each life which built or retarded the development for the entity; giving the abilities of the present entity, that to which it may attain, and how. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: (In going back over years from the present - ” - ‘42 - changes in the aspects and purposes - ‘39 - broadening in the vision and reading - ‘31 - unfoldings - ‘23 - new experiences - ” etc., on back to birth date.)

3. Yes, we have the records here of that entity now known as or called [2845].

4. The life’s seal of this entity is rather of interest, because of the appearance in the seal of the emblem indicating deity.

5. This would be the circle, then, with the signs indicating - top, bottom and side. This on gray, but white circle, with the leaf of gold - or the veins of the leaf of gold, and the leaf itself green, apple green.

6. Then upon the lefthand corner, upon which this would be drawn, put a star; this in a cloud, as in gold.

7. Upon the right put a star, this in fleecy cloud, and in white.

8. At the lower left corner put the star and the crescent; these white and blue - about both star and crescent; these in white and gold, the figures themselves.

9. Upon the right, in the lower portion, put the symbol of the sun; this also in gold, but streaked with red. The center symbol would be white.

10. In giving the interpretations of the records for this entity, these we would choose with the desire and purpose that this be a helpful experience for the entity; enabling it to better fulfil those purposes for which it came into this sojourn.

11. As indicated in the life seal, the purposes, the ideals as indicated lie within self and not in the expressions about self, or even to self. While such may be as symbols, or as helpful influences, know that the body is the temple of the living God and there ye may meet that divine.

12. Whether these are to be fruitful in the activities and associations will depend upon the choices. And these can only be made by purposes within self.

13. When all the urges are taken together, that are latent and manifested, we find these as characteristics in the personality of the entity; as a composite of the urges during sojourns in the earth as well as in the interims between such material sojourns:

14. One that is mighty in its convincingness to others.

15. One pleasing in personality.

16. One very stern as to likes and dislikes.

17. One with the ability to be a speaker, a writer, a worker in those things having to do with the uplift of the masses of individuals.

18. One who will be a leader in whatever activity is chosen by the entity.

19. One that is to be warned respecting self and self-consciousness, and selflessness. This may be attained in these experiences. And know the consciousness of the oneness of the Christ-purpose. For, He is the life, the light; He is the resurrection, He IS the way and the truth.

20. Astrologically we find urges from Mercury, Venus, Jupiter and Uranus. These indicate the high mental ability, the abilities for the masses, the beauty of the personality and individuality with extremes indicated in all; and the interests of the latent self in the occult or unusual. Hence keep the balance in same. For, know in what ye believe and Who is the author of same.

21. As to the appearances in the earth and the activities in same, while not all are indicated in this experience, we find these may be given - with the desire that these may help the entity in attaining those consciousnesses, those awarenesses of the influence that should ever be the choice of the entity:

22. Before this the entity was in the early experiences during the periods of witchcraft, in the early colonies; especially in those portions of Massachusetts where these became quite questionable experiences.

23. The entity was acquainted with many of those said to be “possessed,” and undertook the study and interpretation of same; becoming aware of those influences in the lives of individuals.

24. Also the entity knew those things that prompted many of those who persecuted those thus believing. In the experience the entity remained steady, and yet was questioned by many; lost in its ability to control, which in the present makes for the ability to attract, to speak, to write, to persuade others.

25. The name then was Sandra Morganes.

26. Before that the entity was in the Holy Land, during the days when the Master walked in the earth; being among those groups about Bethsaida where the Master oft dwelt and taught.

27. The entity was among those who saw many of the experiences that brought the awareness of the unusualness and the divinity of the Master; being present at the feeding of the five thousand, also when there were those wonderments at His joining His disciples without means of transportation in the ship; also present when there were the relatings of the happenings to the men when the evil forces were driven from same - and the destruction of the hogs.

28. These made, then, those activities in which the entity gained. For, the entity was among those who might truly be called the holy women, yet not among those in the disturbance in Jerusalem - but was there on the day of pentecost.

29. Those experiences make the life of the Master, His teachings, very real to the entity. And at times the entity is incapable of giving full expression as to what each of these happenings means.

30. The name then was Matildah. In the present application, - study those principles involved especially in the phases of His ministry during that particular period, making practical application of same in the experiences and associations with others; as a teacher, as a leader of groups, as an admonisher to those who seek aid in the Way.

31. Before that the entity was in the Persian or Grecian land. for, the entity was among those Grecians who came into the Persian land during those periods when the Grecians were active there in the ‘city in the hills and the plains.’

32. The entity then became a nurse, a helper; though one that had been questioned oft, before the healing there. In the experience the entity gained; and that ability to minister to others, the ability to impress others, is part of those experiences of the entity then, - as Charlane.

33. Before that the entity was in the Carpathian land, or in those areas that later - much later - became known as the Carpathian mountain. But during that period it was the land from which the Priest and Araraarart [Arart [165][?]] went to the Egyptian land.

34. The entity was among those who remained in that land, but later became acquainted with those activities in Egypt - when there were emissaries sent out, after the return of the Priest from banishment.

35. The entity asked that there be those sent to her own land; thus becoming, as it were, the representative of those tenets or teachings of those groups in the Egyptian land.

36. The name then was Ar-El-Ael.

37. As to the abilities of the entity in the present, that to which it may attain, and how:

38. First, - analyze self, self’s purposes. And know thy ideals, spiritually, mentally, materially.

39. Then study to show thyself approved unto same. And, as thou hast seen, as thou hast taught, - judge no man. For, with what judgments ye judge it is measured to thee again.

40. But study to show thyself approved, a workman not ashamed; stressing where stress is needed, giving guidance, kindness, gentleness, patience to those who falter.

41. Let thy love be without dissimulation. Abhor evil. Cleave to that which is good; showing thyself approved to Him who is the way, the truth, the light.

42. Ready for questions.

43. (Q) What course should I follow in order to do the greatest amount of good through the spiritual power I possess? (A) As indicated, in the study especially of those ministrations ye saw, as to what they imply in thine own experience today.

44. (Q) Why do I have such an urge to preach of Jesus’ love? (A) For ye experienced same.

45. (Q) Please explain the reasons for the strange dreams in which I find myself either demonstrating to others a phase of mediumship, or listening to speakers whose knowledge of spiritual things seems far beyond this earth. (A) The explanation will come when analyzing those very experiences indicated, for these are the experiences in the Carpathian as well as in Bethsaida - most of all in Bethsaida, and in the mount.

46. (Q) How may I best help to fulfil what Jesus taught in regard to helping people understand that we must love all races, colors and creeds? (A) As indicated, in the admonition as we have outlined for the entity.

Know that the authority is established, or know the Author of thy faith and of thy ideals. Then apply same.

47. (Q) Am I in my rightful place; if not, what change should I make? (A) As He has indicated, no man is in ANY place save by the grace of God. Brighten the corner, the place, the sphere where ye are. And when it is the time or period for change, it will be shown thee.

48. (Q) How may I meet my opportunities and recognize them as they come? (A) In the application of those things given; patience, persistence, perseverance, love, gentleness, kindness. These are not mere words but activities in which, - in body, in mind, in purpose, - one may demonstrate that love, that truth, that life, that hope.

R1. 3/16/43 [2845]‘s letter:

Dear Mr. Cayce,

Well, I guess my mind must have played havoc with me about that reading, and again I’m asking an apology for writing so soon about it. I should have waited, but still I began to think that you were waiting to hear from me.

I am so happy with it and I shall strive to the best of my ability to do and say all the good I have known in past experiences in order to help all those that I contact.

Oh, so much of it made my thoughts become so clear. So thrilled I was as I read of being with Jesus, and how close the Spirit was to me as I read of it. It is the answer to so many of my thoughts and desires. Now, I know why I have always wished I could have lived and seen and known Jesus. Now I know, even from a child, how the thoughts and pictures of the Crucifixion have always made my heart ache. And his teachings of Bethsaida seem so to cling to me. Oh, yes, how wonderful it all is. Truly as my reading stated, there is such a love, such a glory in my heart for the Blessed Master, that I can find no words to express it. I wonder sometimes how others cannot feel that tremendous power in their heart and soul, that fills me with such joy and such a great desire to help everyone that I contact. Yes, the was so beautiful and I thank you for your work and time in helping me, and God will bless you, as you know, each hour of every day.

There is only one part of the reading that I cannot explain for I know too little of symbols and the like, and practically nothing of the significance of colors, so I could not interpret the meaning of the life’s seal, altho I’m sure it is lovely too. You see I have really been studying in this work only a year or two and I have not yet studied the colors, etc. but hope to, if ever I can find time to crowd it into my very busy, but happy life, today, only because I’ve found the Blessed Master, altho I have always loved him, yet not always known him. Thank you so much.

R3. 6/20/43 (Sunday) [2845]‘s letter:

My Dear Mr. Cayce,

I have intended to write to [you] before but in the meantime my youngest son came home on a furlough after being in the Caribbean Sea for five months. So you see it worked out to make it impossible for me to visit Virginia Beach, but some day I hope it will be my great pleasure to come.

Yes, I shall pray that Divine Power and Guidance will be bestowed upon you through your busy year. It must be doubly hard with your wonderful son away, still I am sure you will be able to carry on so very successfully with God’s help. We all need you so I’m sure that strength will be given.

Mr. [2976]‘s health is improving greatly and he is so happy about it. I am sure you will also help my other friends to whom I have given your name.

It is a great privilege to know you and I thank you again for all your help.

I am going to school this summer and taking a course in Public Speaking, also in Diction and Pronunciation and I’m sure it will help me greatly. I like it so much.

Dear Mrs. [2845]

Thanks for yours of the twentieth. I am sure that you had a very fine visit with your son. Would that you had been able to be with us for the recent Congress. I think that you will see from the report in the bulletin and the Congress booklet, if you care for same, that we had really a good meeting. Glad to know Mr. [2976]‘s health is on the improve. This, of course, is the real proof of the value of such information in the assurances of any of us.

R5. 7/14/43 [2845]‘s letter:

Dear Mr. Cayce,

Again I must sit down and try to get a few lines to you. The days slip by so rapidly that I fail to accomplish half that I plan to. But I do want to thank you for your lovely letter.

From the bulletin I received I guess the Congress much have been so wonderful. I feel so sorry that I did not get the chance to attend, but perhaps another year will bring an opportunity and by that time I hope to be richer in knowledge and all things of the Spirit thereby gaining greater benefits than this year.

I did receive my seal last week from Mrs. Wolfe [Marion - Mrs. George W.] and it is beautiful. Her interpretation of it was just lovely and she seemed so pleased for my sake, too. Such a sweet vibration comes with her lovely letters that I feel that I, too, know her. I am so pleased with my seal and I just wish you could see it. I hung it on my living room where I can see it many times a day to remind me of my duty toward God and man. I shall try to live up to all my reading gave me. Such a real joy comes when one realizes how great is this Divine Power which is here for us all. To realize our mission while here on earth, how easy it is to understand the obstacles that are placed in our pathway. How greatly blessed we are.

I want to thank you for telling me of Mrs. Wolfe - again.

R6. 11/15/43 [2845]‘s letter:

Dear Mr. Cayce,

It is a joy to write to you this evening, for I have twice been greatly blessed within one week.

First of all, I had the great opportunity of again seeing and hearing you, even though in all the crowd I could only say “Hello.” I was happy also because three of my friends could also come, one being Mrs. […], whom you read for in October. They were so pleased that they made the effort to come. Even though our time was short I was so happy for you that so many people came. It must fill you with a great joy to know that so many are interested in you and your work. I do hope next time there will be adequate room for all.

Another occasion I must tell you off. Yesterday afternoon I went to the Theosophical Society and heard your book “There Is A River” reviewed and it was really very lovely. Before the review began, the reader came and spoke to me and a friend, and wanted to know why I had come there, for I seemed to be a stranger to her. So, I just had to tell her I knew of Mr. Cayce and that I had been to New York this past week to see and hear him. Well, after she finished her review she asked me to tell the folks something about you and your work as I had known it, so I did just that. They were so interested because it brought you so much closer to them. Now I have them all anxiously awaiting the day when “MR. CAYCE” will come to … So gradually the circle widens and that day will come.

I have done a little studying on Theosophy but have never gone to their group meetings. They were such a lovely group and I shall surely go again. Well, I want to say again that I am happy to have had the privilege to be in your presence.

Dear Mr. Cayce,

Will again drop a line to you, hoping all is well with you and yours. I know you must be so terribly busy and I do not wish to add too much to your present work.

I am mailing my Ass’n dues. Guess they were due last month, but it had slipped my mind at the time, for the year has slipped by so rapidly.

Along with my money I am asking you when it would be convenient for you to give me a physical reading, which I truly have needed for years. I should have had it in the beginning, but was so anxious about the spiritual side of things, that I just let the physical wait awhile. Would it be possible for me to have a reading? I feel guilty in asking you with so much work to do.

Again I’ll tell you how much I enjoyed seeing you again in New York.

R8. 1/14/44 [2845]‘s letter:

Dear Mr. Cayce,

It is about time I answered your letter of Dec. 11th, telling me of my reading appointment on next July 8th. I am very grateful to you for that date and I hope all will be well until that time. In the meantime I am trying to take the best of care of myself, hoping to correct a few conditions that seem to exist.

I do so hope and pray that all is well with you and yours. Sure hope you folks have escaped this “flu” that has been so prevalent. It got a slight hold on me last week but after two days, it seemed to disappear. All those around me have had it and still feel the effects of it.

We are having a delightful winter here, not so cold, with a few snow flakes, and that is about all. I have already started looking for the Spring to come in, with all its joys and beauty.

Had a lovely long letter from Mrs. [3914] the other day. She spoke so nicely of you, too.

I have recently started taking a course in occult training, along with my other activities and I hope to learn much from it. Will take, at least seven years. A long time, isn’t it, still one can never learn too much. Hope it helps me to understand and clarify many things that I now seek answers to. It will cover many subjects from many teachers and we are not taught just one person’s method or teachings. We study several, then are permitted to form our own conclusions, thereby leaving us to think freely. So I look forward to a greater understanding.

Dear FRIENDS.

On receipt of the “Bulletin” the other day I noticed the appeal to those of us, who could forego our reading appointments to do so. I shall be very happy to ease the tremendous burden heaped upon Mr. Cayce at the present time, by giving up my appointment to someone who is in a great need of help. I can always wait and who knows but what I may not need it at all. It seems as the days come and go I seem to feel better, knowing that the “healing stream of God’s Love” is constantly pouring into my body. How can I help but grow stronger, mentally, physically and spiritually. Yes, I am truly happy [to] give up my reading date.

I am so glad that Mr. Cayce just took that much needed vacation and I’m sure it did him a great deal of good.

God Bless you all in your several efforts to bring Christ into the hearts of the world.

Dear Mrs. [2845]

I have received your letter of March 7th.

Please do not try to withdraw any burden. I need your prayers and help, and I know I am only worthy of them when I am still trying to use every bit of my effort and strength to try and be of service to others.

It is true the great number of appointments has gotten most of us down. Most of the people who have written, possibly have been anxious and of course have come as a last resort, and my being sick myself for the last three or four weeks, seems too much for many of them, and have cancelled their appointments; many have asked for return of their membership, etc., I would be glad to send them all back if that’s the way they really feel.

I have been ill. Yes, the error is in myself, but I can only console myself by the idea that we have been taught, “Though He were the son, yet learned He obedience through the things which He suffered.” If anyone has one of these kitten or cat fever, or flu or what not, they suffer and it is meeting one’s own self.

Keep your appointments Mrs. [2845] if you need them, if you do not, of course we will be glad to pass them on to someone else. For the last three or four weeks it means five and six everyday have missed their periods. Keep your appointments and if later on if you want to give them over to someone else, fine. We are not going to change them unless you insist.

Dear Mrs. [2845]

I have your letter of the 21st.

Thanks very much for then nice things you say about me and the work of the association.

I was ill for about three weeks, and a great many appointments were passed up. This, of course, has caused considerable confusion, for everyone is anxious for their reading, yet it is impossible for us to change the whole list when there are hundreds and hundreds of them that would have to be changed. Many individuals are not looking for anything except something for self right now, and if they can’t get it right now, they don’t want it. Its perfectly alright and we are anxious to try and be of help as much as possible for all of those whom we feel the work was intended for. “Many are called, but not all get up.”

We just hope we may be able to carry on and be of just as much service as is possible. Not that it is ourselves, that we know is not true, but only as the Spirit of Truth may work in, or through us.

We hope to be able to keep the appointment for you. Be sure to let us hear from you with the data that is necessary for the best reading.

We hope that you are enjoying the weekly letter and the monthly bulletin.
