This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at the office of the Association, Arctic crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 4th day of June, 1943, in accordance with request made by the self - Miss [2872], Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

Time of Reading 10:45 to 11:00 A. M. Eastern War Time. …, Florida.

1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with further suggestions for corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [2872]; this we have had before.

3. In some respects there are changes for betterment. In the general condition there has come about, as yet, little change.

4. However, if there will be the consistent use of these properties, as we find, for several weeks, - possibly months, - we may rid the system of this condition:

5. First, we would prepare Mullein Tea in some quantity, so that it may be preserved as the body goes from one place to another. Prepare it in this manner:

6. Obtain preferably the green Mullein with flower; about half of the Mullein leaves - the tender leaves - and half of the flower, in bloom.

7. To a gallon of water put a quart of the Mullein - half leaves and half flower, you see. Let this come almost to a boil. Then set aside, strain, and to this add six ounces of Grain alcohol, about 90% proof. This then may be kept.

8. And take at least four doses each day, a teaspoonful before each meal and upon retiring.

9. Also we would apply locally the compound known as Lenore’s Eczema Remedy, which may only be obtained in New Orleans, Louisiana, or in Selma, Alabama - at Cawthon-Coleman Drug Company. Use or apply this as directed, either with gauze, or with gauze applied over same, or with a tuft of cotton. Apply this about twice a day.

10. Keep away from fats, - as the fats of meat or any great quantity of butter. Beware of too much starches.

11. Eat plenty of fruits and vegetables.

12. And do keep the eliminations well. Use Senna Tea (made from Senna Leaves or Senna Pods) as an eliminant.

13. Do these. Keep these up. And we should continue to find, now, an eradicating of the disturbance.

14. Ready for questions.

15. (Q) Is there a place that would be more beneficial to my health than Miami Beach? (A) This is very well, as it has been less irritating; though through the summer it may be well on the lakes anywhere - on the Great Lakes.

16. (Q) Would a trip to Chicago during the summer months prove detrimental to my health? (A) Not necessarily, especially if these applications as indicated are kept up.

My dear Mr. Cayce,

I received your last reading in which you prescribed a brew made of fresh Mullein leaves. As there are no fresh plants to be had down here, I wondered if it is prepared and bottled somewhere else - and if so, would you please let me know just where I can get it. I have sent for the eczema remedy and should have it soon.

Yours of the twenty-fourth. I do not know of anyone who - unless you could get some druggist to prepare the Mullein for you. And in that case, you could get your own druggist to order it from Crude Drug house and they could prepare it for you. While they will not ship it to you yourself, they will ship it to your druggist if he orders it direct.

Hoping you will be able to get this and will be feeling better real soon.

She is now in Miami Beach, Florida & will meet me in Norfolk on the 27th.

R6. 7/18/44 [2872]‘s ltr. to EC:

Dear Mr. Cayce,

I know you are busy so I shall try to take up as little of your time as possible.

I would just like to tell you how glad I am that I had the opportunity of meeting you, and how much I am looking forward to coming to the annual congress next summer.

Here are the questions I would like to have asked on my check physical reading on July 31st.

1. Were the treatments Dr. Larimer gave me carried out according to your instruction?
2. Shall I resume these treatments? If so, please give more detailed instruction as to how often they should be taken and how they should be given.
3. At times my eczema is so irritated that it becomes almost impossible to take osteopathic treatments. Would it be wise to discontinue treatments for a while at these periods?

I am enclosing a check for $10.00 for the reading.
