GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:

EC: We have the body here. While we find conditions are better than when last we had same, - there was too much and too often given of the properties indicated. This, the Castoria, would be more effective if given in broken doses - it will not cramp the body - and given sufficient period for it to be activative through the system.

Repeat the Castoria, then, in broken doses. Give a few drops every hour or so, - not a teaspoonful, not a half, but a few drops every hour, and this will be much better for the body.

Also keep up the Glyco-Thymoline.

The other properties as an alkalizer (the Milk of Magnesia) are effective, to be sure; but in these particular conditions there needs to be taken more of the vegetable than the mineral salts, for the active flow of the digestive forces of liver, stomach and the gastric flows. Hence we would repeat the Castoria, as indicated.

We would keep those rubs as indicated.

Use on the body the powder that carries stearate of zinc with Balsam in same, and this will be the more effective.

In the diet keep close to those things suggested, - not too much of the heavy portions of the milk or the foods.

(Q) Is the throat healing properly? (A) As the eliminations are bettered through the body, this will gradually heal. Massaging the abdomen with the equal combination of Mutton Tallow (dissolved), Spirits of Turpentine and Spirits of Camphor, will aid in removing the soreness. Also this rubbed along the spine of evening when prepared for bed will be well.

(Q) Should the saturated flannel cloth be continued? (A) When put to bed, put this on - yes.

(Q) What is causing the choking and unnatural crossness at times? (A) The soreness from the acidity in the system.

(Q) Does she have an enlarged thymus? (A) This is not normal, but as we find when better conditions are set up in the assimilation and elimination, there should be the nearer normal activity and response in this respect.

(Q) Is it alright to administer Lime Water? (A) This should be in the food, yes.

R1. 3/13/44 Her aunt, Miss [1747], requested a Life Reading for her [2877] but the appointment had to be cancelled due to EC’s illness.
R2. 5/14/52 Reply to Questionnaire by aunt [1747]: “The child [2877] was very sick, having what is called a “thrush” mouth indicating the soreness all through the alimentary canal. She cried all the time, and phlegm would come up and choke her.
“I helped to carry out the readings and she was greatly relieved by the treatments outlined for her. They were followed very much as outlined.”
R3. 7/1/52 Aunt [1747]‘s reply to Questionnaire:
Q - At the beginning of the reading [1788-1], Mr. Cayce said, “Yes - where the Dillmans lived.” Do you happen to know if they ever lived at …? If so, about what year? A - “Yes, the Dillmans sublet the apartment from my brother and his wife.”
Q - Could you possibly give an outline of the manner in which the treatments in the first reading were carried out? A - “They tried to do it the best they knew how, but were very fearful at the time. The throat cleared and she did improve. I feel that if they would have had a little more faith it would have cleared up.”
Q - Did the condition completely clear? A - “Not completely.”
Q - Did the enlarged thymus become normal following the entire treatment? A - “No, she took X-ray treatment for it.”
Q - Did you find it necessary to resort to medical aid to clear up the condition? If so, what treatment was given? A - “X-ray treatments were taken later (after the 2 readings) to relieve the thymus condition.”
Q - Any other information you can supply and the minute detail is the type of report we are looking for. A - “She still has a breaking out from time to time - at which time she is taken to the doctor. The doctors have not at any time said just what this condition is. (She is a problem child.) I feel that her condition cleared up a lot but the thymus condition returned after a time and she took and had treatments then by X-ray.
“She is really the most loving of all the children, but at the same time she can give you just as much trouble as she can love.”
