This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce, in Virginia Beach, Va., this 27th day of January, 1926, in accordance with request made by self - Miss [288].

[Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno.]

Time of Reading 10:40 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. …, Virginia.

  1. GC: You will have before you the body and the enquiring mind of [288], present in this room, and the dream this body had on the date which I will give you. You will give the interpretation and lesson to be gained from same, as I read same to you.

  2. EC: Now, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [288], with dreams as come to the body from time to time. These, as we see, are applicable to the body, in the study of forces as are manifested in the physical world, and are correlations of mental mind, body-mind, soul, and the subconscious forces, or mind of the soul. Ready for dream.

  3. (Q) Thursday morning, January 21, 1926. “Dream in which I saw [2497] come into the house and speak to all of us. It seemed that she had come for a reading. Later, at dinner, she told us she had come for a PHYSICAL reading. While she was talking, (and this part seems to stand out particularly in the dream) I was looking at her teeth. I knew she had false teeth, but they were beautiful! They shone like pearls, and were of different shapes, with pretty edges on them, and about every other tooth seemed to be of gold. The rest I can’t remember very well. Later, there was something regarding a bridge and water, with myself and a few others crossing it, and then a church, with singing. I don’t know whether these were part of the same dream, or different. Please recall and interpret the meaning and lesson that is to be gained by me.” (A) In this there is presented to the body, through that correlation of ideals as concerning the individuals and their action as regarding phenomena and forces as manifest in the physical world, shown in how the individuals present selves for the use or application of that force as manifested, and the manner in which this is requested.

As to the use of same, as is seen in how the teeth appear, and the unreasonable condition as presented by same, there is shown how speech of the physical body often becomes detrimental to the condition as is presented, and often, as is seen, the work itself presents, BY itself and its results, the greater lessons than that as is a spoken lesson, and held as a mental application of same. [“Silence is golden.”]

As to other portions as are seen in same, these relate to other conditions, not applicable in this in its entirety; for, as we see, these give various conditions as are presented in the mind of the entity; as to the bridge, which is as the passing over from one place to another through the transition, as of thought, through the change as is taking place, or does take place, in the entity, through, thought, as is expressed or felt. [Ten years later she became active in church choir.]

As is seen in groups, as appear in religious thought, intent, or in purpose; these all bring their various changes to the entity, and to those whom the entity may contact. More of these may be given, more of these same, be applied in the life of the entity. Use that as is given here.

  1. We are through with this reading.
