GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures, answering the questions she has submitted, as I ask them:

EC: Yes.

As we find, there is as much in the general mental attitude of the body as in the physical disturbances; which work together to make for this pressure being produced that causes the activities of the system to produce a regurgitation throughout the lymph and the supply of activity through the alimentary canal.

A high enema, colon irrigation, would be MOST advisable. Of course, plenty of eliminations, - but do not OVERDO same.

But keep the body alkalized with juices of fruits and such; and we should find that, with the change of attitudes to constructive forces - not resentments, nor the condemning in any manner - conditions will be much improved.

R1. 2/8/39 Wed. a.m. She wrote: “You are exactly right! Last Friday night, the 3rd, I got upset over family matters. The next morning I began to get the sniffles. On Sunday I had to go to bed, completely exhausted, head heavy as lead, etc.
“This morning I am still blowing yellow phlegm out of my nose from way back in head somewhere, but feel better generally. I am trying to be optimistic and not to say or think a single negative or pessimistic thing.”
R2. 2/24/39 She wrote: “I plan to go Monday evening to get my voice lesson from Mr. Edgar J. Parry. I’ve been feeling terrible for three weeks; first the deep cold, then great worry over illness in the family, and that ‘touch of mental attitude’ so that I didn’t feel like singing. I suppose that’s when you should try the hardest. But if Mr. Parry will give me another chance, I’ll try again.”
R3. 2/26/40 She obtained her next Ck. Physical, 288-46, for hemorrhoids, lumbago, swelling of lower limbs, etc., after effects of “flu”.
