EC: Yes, we have the body here; this we have had before.

As we find, the cold and the congestion and the effect of the poisons and accumulations of same arise somewhat from indiscretions and overtaxations of the system.

We would find, to bring about the bettered conditions for the body, first we would bathe the lower limbs from the knees down with Mustard Water; this, of course, just before retiring of an evening; this done once or twice; that is, this afternoon, tomorrow afternoon, and then keep quiet.

Produce the better eliminations with the Castoria as combined with the activity of the Simmons Liver Regulator; or take one dose of the Simmons Regulator, one dose of the Castoria. These will make for a burning in the stomach when taken, but take about a teaspoonful of each - this done a whole afternoon; then the next morning take a flushing with at least two or three teaspoonsful of the Castoria.

I didn’t take the Mustard foot bath last night as I had to be up with baby nephew [1208] sick with croup. I will take it tonight. I feel pretty good now but my nose is sore and still stopped up off and on.”

Cold seems better this a.m. but so TIRED; also my nose feels ‘draw-ey’ and I’ve sneezed quite a bit.”
