This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at the Hirn home, 6844 Nansen St., Forest Hills, L.I., N.Y., this 18th day of November, 1934, in accordance with request made by the self - Mr. Edgar Cayce, Active Member - or Honorary Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

[Edgar Cayce; Hugh Lynn Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno.]

Time of Reading Arctic Crescent, 11:55 to 12:00 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. Va. Beach, Va. (Physical Suggestion)

  1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, Edgar Cayce; this we have had before.

  2. As we find in the present, there are strains upon the general physical forces of the body. In this climatic condition or pressure we find an irritation to the mucous membranes of the head, and through the nasal passages, that makes for the tendency of accumulations through the congestion there; so that poisons are created which upset the gastric flow in the drainages that occur at times to the cardiac reaction in the stomach itself, producing an acidity and a lack of the lacteal fluids and flow, making for conditions that become at times very disturbing to the activity of the liver and the digestive system.

  3. We would use a spray, such as we have indicated; also general manipulations given occasionally for the relaxing of the whole body. From time to time we would take sufficient of the lacteal juices, or Lactated Pepsin, in such measures as to create a balance. Keep away from oils in fried foods of any kind, or from too much starches. And we would bring or keep a near normal balance with this body.

  4. Ready for questions.

  5. (Q) What should be the dosage of the Lactated Pepsin and how often taken? (A) Taken when necessary. From six to ten minims after meals.

  6. (Q) What should be the ingredients for the spray? (A) As we have indicated heretofore. Or, as this: In an ounce container for a spray, put these:

Distilled Water…1 ounce, Oil of Eucalyptus…4 minims, Rectified Oil of Turp…1 minim, Tincture of Benzoin…3 minims.

This would make a very good spray.

  1. (Q) How often should the osteopathic treatments be given? Should these be osteopathic treatments, or just manipulations? (A) A general massage and manipulations, with corrections - of course - that go along with it. Once, twice, three times a week; dependent upon the strain under which the body labors.

These are only aids, to be sure. The mental attitude and atmosphere, and surroundings and conditions, make for changes very much in the application of those things that may be helpful to the body.

  1. We are through with this reading.
