This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 14th day of December, 1934, in accordance with request made by the self - Mr. Edgar Cayce, Honorary Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

[Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno. Mildred Davis, L. B. and Hugh Lynn Cayce.]

Time of Reading 4:00 to 4:05 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. …, Va. (Physical Suggestion)

  1. EC: Yes, we have the body here; this we have had before. As we find, conditions are very good throughout the general physical forces of the body, other than those strains that have been indicated in the mental and physical forces - and they only need those periods of relaxation, keeping the balance in the eliminations and in the resuscitating influences as to keep for normalcy; and we should keep the strength of the body.

  2. In the bruises on the chest and arm we would massage equal parts of mutton tallow, turpentine, camphor and witchhazel - stirred together; then apply HEAT - when the body is ready to rest, you see. This will remove the strains in the muscular forces.

  3. Keep the eliminations, and make for an activity through the liver, pancreas and spleen; and we will keep near normalcy for the body.

  4. Ready for questions.

  5. (Q) Should the massage be given on the front or back, or both? (A) Neither one! On the side, where the pressure was! This is on the left side, about an inch and a half from the nipple towards the under portion of the arm - and the upper portion just above same and towards the arm pit.

  6. (Q) This is only a strain and bruise? (A) Strain and a bruise.

  7. We are through with this reading.
