GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:
-
EC: Yes, we have the body here, Edgar Cayce.
-
As we find, the acute conditions have arisen from overindulgence in those foods and properties that acted directly upon the already disturbed condition, - the liver and gall duct area; causing a spasmodic reaction from the gall duct and bile duct, or bile bladder, area; thus upsetting the general equilibrium of the system.
-
As we find, there needs to be the precautions as to diet, - in those things that will create a better or a normal balance; such as vegetables, vegetable soups, plenty of buttermilk, and those that form less of gases through the system, and to keep the eliminations in proper order and manner.
-
These as we find offer the better conditions for the return of the body to near normalcy.
-
There has not been any inflammation, though the excesses of the amount of activity of the liver has formed a strain upon the general system.
-
Sufficient of exercises daily should be taken for the using of energies and supplying of proper reactions through the system. Not too much, then, of a sedentary life of activity, but keep in the open some time each day, in a regular or consistent manner.
-
Ready for questions.
-
(Q) What would be the best to take to keep the eliminations? (A) This will depend upon the natural reactions. Salts, and Eno Salts especially, would be good.
