This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 23rd day of March, 1927, in accordance with request made by self - Edgar Cayce.

Time of Reading 115 West 35th St., 12:00 Noon - Eastern Standard Time. Virginia Beach, Va.

1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for the relief and improvement of same, and you will answer the questions regarding same I will ask you.

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here. This we have had before.

3. Again we find the system overtaxed by the inabilities of the intestinal digestive system to handle foods as taken in same (in the condition as the food was), and the poisons being thrown into the system, we find those conditions as are brought about by the action of same, see?

4. Well were these conditions FOLLOWED in the way and manner as has been OUTLINED for the body, and overcome these conditions - for should these become so centralized, there may be brought about those very detrimental conditions to the body, as has been given from time to time.

5. Were hot vapor baths, or Turkish baths taken to relieve congestion, these would be well occasionally, see? or heat baths from electrical appliances - these are good, see, to rid the system of conditions, that the body may respond.

6. Follow in the lines as has been given. Ready for questions.

7. (Q) Should the body continue with the Petrolagar and Pepsin as given before? (A) Continue, when these are necessary, see? These are necessary under the existing conditions.

8. (Q) Has the body been smoking too much? (A) As has been given, be well that half or two-thirds of the smoking be cut out by the body, see? for being over sensitive, naturally the nicotine from the tobacco brings those poisons in system that must be eliminated, and when the body is overclogged (as such condition exists at present), this merely adds to that condition wherein distresses are produced. Boil these out some, see?

9. (Q) Is there anything that may be used at the present to relieve the pain in the hand? [Neuritis?] (A) Remove that from the intestinal system causing same and pain will disappear. That is, keep the system cleaned out, until the poisons are stimulated to be eliminated, or so stimulating eliminations that poisons would be drained from system, see?

10. (Q) What foods have caused this condition at THIS time? (A) Over quantity of foods, rather than foods, see?

11. (Q) Would just plain hot tub baths relieve the condition any? (A) Not much. Better that these be steam baths, or electrical baths, or vapor baths. Only tub baths to tend it for congestion, without stimulating the capillary circulation enough to start the reaction, see? for tub or hot baths only bring about the opening of the pores without stimulating circulation. Such activity with hard rubs afterward would be well - rubbed down by hand or by machine.

12. (Q) Is there any suggestion that may be given the body at this time that will assist in relieving the condition? (A) Stimulate the excretory system, and the WHOLE of the excretory system, so that the poisons may be eliminated, as given, see? We are through for the present.
