This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 11th day of November, 1929, in accordance with request made by self - Miss [302]. Also by Mr. [900].

1. EC: We don’t find it there at present - but we will find it - here - [EC mumbled over the address - GD couldn’t get it clearly.]

2. Yes, [302]. This body we have had before. In some respects physical conditions are bettered. In others there are the evidences of inroads being made by the conditions of which the body has been warned, and unless there are more precautions taken respecting the conservation of the vitality, there must sooner or later - and not in a great distance - come the breaking up of cell and cell tissue to such an extent as to become detrimental. More rest, better eliminations - not merely through alimentary canal, but COORDINATION of eliminations, and more of the vitality in assimilations in the system are needed. Such vital energy may be aided - not without the use of those as have been given - but by VARYING the character of the lights for the body. The ultra-violet changed to the Infra Red, as well as the green and blue. Cobalt blue, and nile green. Changing these through the prism reflection. Well also were the body to use the carbon ash in quarter grain dosage EVERY day. Do that. Ready for questions. Alternating the rays, or the light treatments - cutting same into near half time as has BEEN used in some, and give same EVERY day - see? Alternating the color. We are through with this reading.

R1. 2/3/30 Letter to EC: “I am terribly sorry to learn that you have been under the weather, and I sincerely hope ere this reaches you, you will be your old good self once more.

As for me, to be very honest with you, after following your last reading to the most minute detail, I am happy to report bonafide and absolute improvement. I realize now, if I had followed your first and second [302-1 & 302-2?] reading, which I received from you a couple of years ago, that I would have been able to do away with quite a little of the suffering I did during the early part of 1929. [302-8?] But then we must all pay for experience, and I paid for mine by not listening to you sooner. Rest assured, however, that it shan’t happen again, and when you tell me to do a thing I am going to live up to it to the best of my ability and follow out all instructions.”

R2. 7/11-13/30 EC was in N.Y. visiting Mr. [900] and his wife Mrs. [136]. Apparently he saw Miss [302] and she requested a reading, for on 7/16/30 EC wired her: “Wire immediately exact location four to five today.” She replied by wire: “Have business appointment four to five. Will go directly home … Ave., there from five-thirty until tomorrow morning business time.” [No rdg. was given, and no further communication is in her file until the following:]

R3. 3/14/33 “It surely was fine to have again been able to see you.

Sometime I do hope to be given the opportunity to sit alone and chat with you, as there are so many things I do so want to go over with you. In bygone days I was always given to understand [by Mr. [900]] you did not wish to talk to me and I am so happy to say that after the other evening at Mr. [257]‘s home I feel a greatly relieved person. I could never understand just why you did not wish to converse with me, as I knew of nothing I had done to warrant such action on your part. Please let me know when you will be here again and if you have time I would like a few minutes of your time.

Re the reading I spoke to you about, on Fri. from 10-3 I’ll be at my office, % … Co… Then from 3:30-4:15 en route to my home at …, N.Y. City where I will be until 7 o’clock when I go out to dinner. On Sat. I shall be at the office from 10-12, and home from 3:30-7 in the evening when I go out to dinner. Then on Sun. I am in the house until 12:30, when I take a walk until 3:30, then stay home until 6:30 when I go out to dinner. On Mon., office from 10-3, then home from 5:15 until Tues. morning at 9.” [See EC’s reply 3/20/33 under 302-10, Par. R1.]

R4. 3/17/33 She obtained a combination reading answering questions about her health, her mental and material affairs, including love life.

B1. 4/17/29 She obtained Ck. Physical 302-8 for severe pains in lower back from pelvic infection [gonorrhea?], warning of breaking of cell tissue.

B2. 11/4/29 “I am having each and every day considerable pain and distress around my heart and I’d like to know what it’s all about.

“Have followed carefully my medicine and treatment given in last rdg. [302-8] and same proved most beneficial.”
