GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for the relief and the further improvement of same.
-
EC: Yes, we have the body here.
-
Now, while there are changes in the physical forces of the body since last we had it, we do not find that there is material improvement in the physical forces.
-
Those properties as have been used as the inhalant are not compounded in the proper way and manner. Hence produce irritation when the inhalant is followed close after a coughing spell [asthma attack?], and does not relax the system as it should. Please have this prepared in the way and manner as has been given [in 304-8] if we would gain the best results from same, using those properties as were given for it, and not substitute those as are near to same.
-
The adjustments as are necessary from the congestion produced by cold, have not been received entirely. We would have these adjustments made osteopathically - deep - in the upper dorsal and throughout the cervical region, see?
-
Keep the diet and the general use or exercise of the body in the way and manner as has been given.
-
The use of the horehound [as in 304-7] and of the glycerine should be changed somewhat, if this character of horehound is to be used. We would take that which is left, see? LEFT of this solution - the horehound and the properties as are in same. Put this on in any kettle (not metal, see?) - heavy enameled ware would be well, see? and add one-half (1/2) pint of distilled water. Also one-half (1/2) pint Elixir of Wild Cherry, or the Syrup of Wild Cherry, and reduce at least one-half (1/2) pint. That means one-half (1/2) pint gain in the properties, see? adding at the same time two (2) teaspoonsful of sugar, to be stirred during the whole time. Do not boil too heavy, but let come to boil, see? until this is reduced. Then take as has been prescribed. This we find will aid better with the conditions, preparing the inhalant as has been given [304-8], and take at least six (6) osteopathic adjustments. Do that.
-
We are through for the present.
