Time of Reading 4:00 to 4:05 P. M. Eastern War Time. …, New York.

1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time with suggestions for further corrective measures, answering the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here; this we have had before.

3. Attempts have been made here for corrections; not a great deal of improvement is indicated. There should be more consistency in the application of the Oil Packs in the order and manner indicated for such Packs. Apply these Castor Oil Packs to the lacteal duct area for an hour each day for three days in succession each week. After each Pack have a massage, neuropathically given. These should be scientifically given, else we may injure those areas by the type of pressure that should be used to break up the lesions, where there is the filling of the bursa that are a part of the lacteal duct area, as to produce pressures on the brain centers, or to the sympathetic and cerebrospinal system that forms the heaviness and the filling at the base of the brain.

4. If we will do these, we will find better conditions for the body.

5. Following the three-day series of Castor Oil Packs each week (the same three days each week), take internally at least two tablespoonsful of Olive Oil.

6. Those pressures indicated in the coccyx end of the spine and through the lacteal ducts must be coordinated with the centers in the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd cervical.

7. Do that.

8. Ready for questions.

9. (Q) Can these treatments also be done by the neuropath? (A) As just indicated, these should be done by the neuropath.

10. (Q) How can the body know when the bursa fill before an attack comes? (A) Why let the bursa fill, if you do just what we have indicated for you may keep them from filling! You will know they are filled by the series of nervous spells that occur.

11. (Q) Is it advisable to discontinue Dilantin Sodium Capsules? (A) Gradually do this, as indicated for the body; not all at once, but let them get farther and farther apart if possible.

12. (Q) Where can a neuropath be found near here. (A) Where a neuropath lives!

“After many months of silence from us you will no doubt be surprised that we are still intent on finding a physician or other person who can cooperate in carrying out your plan of treatment for my husband, [3082]. His last reading was given in December, 1943 and since that time no treatments have been given. We are very much handicapped in our present place of residence in securing the help we need in carrying out the instructions. This letter is to tell you that within a few weeks we will be moving to Charleston, West Virginia where, it is hoped, we will be able to find someone who is acquainted with your methods to aid us. Also to ask if you know of a physician or neuropath in that city whom we can consult.

“I know you are busier than ever and every day more and more people are coming to know of your great work. Best wishes for your well being and all those who carry on with you in the Association.”

R2. 9/13/44 EC’s letter to [3082]‘s wife:

“I am just in receipt of your letter of July 10th and note what you have to say about the reading for your husband and the trouble you have had in getting the suggestions carried out.

“In Charleston, West Virginia we have the following osteopaths listed in our directory: Horn, Cora Mae, 206 Kanawha Bank & Trust Bldg., Monroe, Loyal M., 416 Natl. Bank Bldg., Whitright, W. F., 416 Charleston Natl. Bank Bldg. We would suggest that you see anyone of these when you arrive in Charleston. I am sure if you will follow through with the suggestions indicated that there will be some help. Do let us hear from you and if we can be of service will be glad to do so.” Sincerely, EC

R4. 9/1/71 Wife wrote:

“We were deeply troubled at the time by his condition and prospects for much of a future seemed remote indeed. The readings - given by Edgar Cayce gave us much hope and inspiration and helped us to keep going. Even though we were never able to obtain the services of a neuropathic physician as recommended, we did the best we could to carry out what parts of the treatment which we could. At that time we were living in New York State and in 1944 we returned to West Virginia where we have since lived, this area having always been my home. Over the years the attacks which concerned us gradually abated and he has been free of them for about eight years. I personally have always regretted that we did not have Life Readings for ourselves and our son.”
