This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at the office of the Association, Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 19th day of September, 1943, in accordance with request made by the self - Mrs. [3110], Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research and Enlightenment, Inc.

Time of Reading 4:15 to 4:25 P. M. Eastern War Time. Washington, D.C.

1. GC: You will answer the questions regarding this body as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [3110], this we have had before.

3. As we find, there are some changes but not a great deal for the better. As was indicated, there must be some changes of attitude before applications that may be made may be very helpful for the body - as to animosities, fears and doubts.

4. Hence as was indicated, there are the needs of certain associations or adjustments that would mean an adjustment of the body-physical as well as of the body-desires and hopes, before applications could be effective for that which has caused the lack of proper motivative forces through the body.

5. But ready for questions.

6. (Q) Are there any active focal points of infection in ear, mastoid, nose, throat, teeth, kidney or intestine? (A) These as we find are the areas affected sympathetically, though the sources of the disturbance have arisen from the area where the assimilations take place - the chemical changes wrought in the body through the periods of assimilating the foods taken.

This has gradually turned the areas in the soft tissue of throat, the mastoid area, the soft tissue of the face, to a very painful condition at times of the mucous membranes - being under stress of pain from the poisons or accumulations forming silicon hardening areas in soft tissue, in the muscles and tendons, causing conditions that are arthritic in nature.

Hence, until we can begin to find or set up some drainages and then apply the things suggested, we will not find any material aid except of a temporary nature.

7. (Q) What is the condition developing in the left shoulder joint which causes an increasing restriction of movement? (A) This is from the chemical pressures or the hardening of lymph ducts through the area.

8. (Q) What prevents the straightening of both elbows? (A) As just indicated the accumulation producing the hardening or the crystallization of the tendon. We would first apply the character of Packs as indicated, followed by the Oil rubs. Also the taking of Atomidine in small doses (one drop in half a glass of water each morning before breakfast for five days), followed by the Epsom Salts Packs or Epsom Salts Baths, might bring some relief.

9. (Q) What has taken place in the deformed hands? (A) Neuritic and arthritic combinations, as given.

10. (Q) What causes the chronic intestinal looseness? (A) This is the condition from which the poisons accumulate, because of the lack of control in same.

Hence the character of rubs and the taking of the properties internally that would prepare the body for the treatments indicated.

Do these if we would get help for this body. But change the attitude from that of animosity or overanxiety or from being too secure in the trust of others. Know that the body-mind and spirit are of a divine origin. Then act like it.
