This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at the office of the Association, Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 29th day of July, 1943, in accordance with request made by the father - Dr. [3211], new Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc., recommended by Mr. and Mrs. David E. Kahn.

Time of Reading … Road, 4:05 to 4:15 P. M. Eastern War Time. …, New York.

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [3119].

3. Now, as we find, those administrations being made for the body are best to be kept just as they are; save we would add to the body-energies those vibrations for what appears to be the dwindling or the static condition in the nerve areas. These, where they are apparently burned out or short-circuited, as it were, may indeed be assisted in renewing themselves.

4. Keep the activities of the massage, though we would use the Peanut Oil; massaging daily all the body will absorb, along the spine in a gentle rotary motion, and to the ends of the nerves governing locomotion, you see; and into the limb itself.

5. To be sure, we would keep the observance of the condition, and all of the conditions required for the protection of those administering such treatments to the body.

6. And we would add the use of the Radio-Active Appliance, which we would have built for the body. This use consistently, daily. Do not use it for another body. Do keep the attachment plates clean. Polish them when they are attached, and again when they are taken off - clean them thoroughly with the emery paper. The jar with the ice should be prepared and the Appliance set in it twenty minutes before it is attached to the body.

7. Use the Appliance for one hour each day, and let this be the period for prayer and meditation; not only by the body itself but those who have been and are aiding or who are ministering to the better welfare of the body.

8. These are those things to EXPECT of the Appliance:

9. There is nothing in the Appliance of itself. For, know, as you are told in the Book, in the law, - all that is within heaven and earth, as well as hell, is within the body of the living individual. To cause same to respond to those vibra- tion cells of creative energies, so that each corpuscle of the building, of the staying, or of the resisting variety, is aware of its purpose to renew itself, may BEST be attained from its own source of supply - which is within.

10. The activity of the Appliance, then, is to build that low form of energy (which is electrical in itself) as to build up in one extremity and discharge in the other.

11. Here it is the extremity that has been and is lacking in the fluids, the plasms, to build or to enliven the latent nerve ends.

12. This will enable the body to accomplish this within self, IF the massages are given, the prayers are kept, and the vitamins and diets and applications are kept that are being administered.

13. Do that.
