This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 30th day of August, 1937, in accordance with request made by the self - Mrs. [313], on Active Membership of her husband in the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

[Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno.]

Time of Reading 4:25 to 4:35 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. …, Florida. (Physical Suggestion)

  1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [313]; this we have had before.

  2. As we find, while conditions are not all that might be hoped for, considering the strain, the anxiety and the FEAR that has been created in the mental forces of the body, through the recent reaction from experiences, the conditions are very well.

  3. It would be well, then, after the next series of menstrual period, to have the straightening of the womb through the packs; [womb packing] that would not only assist in overcoming much of the disturbance in this direction but would relieve a great deal of the anxiety that has existed, does exist, in the mind of the body in this direction.

  4. There should be no fear in the body-mind, if the proper precautions are taken, that this will become or is malignant in its nature; though with caustic or with irritation, or with too much neglect, these conditions may become secondary in that nature, and thus cause the great drain and strain upon the system from the general anxiety.

  5. Of course, during those periods of the treatments or packs, the douches are NOT needed. When these are THROUGH, we would then take the douches occasionally; preferably with the Atomidine as has been heretofore indicated.

  6. We would keep much in the attitude and in the activity of the diet as has been outlined for the body, as much as is possible under the existent circumstances.

  7. Do not overtax the body by undue exercise in unseasonable weather, but keep in the open.

  8. Do not lift, push or strain the body, especially during those periods of the correction.

  9. But if these are kept, as we find we will bring the better conditions for this body, [313].

  10. Ready for questions.

  11. (Q) What strength should Atomidine douches be? (A) These have been indicated. As has been given, DO NOT attempt to use these, of course, during the periods when the packs are being applied by the gynecologist.

  12. (Q) Is Pelvitone advantageous? (A) This will depend upon the conditions AFTER these corrections are made.

  13. (Q) Is it well to hold water twenty minutes? (A) This is rather long unless the water is ONLY body-temperature.

And, of course, all of these become conditional, too, dependent upon the activity, owing to those suggestions for just after this next period that there be these corrections made.

  1. (Q) Should I continue Eno from time to time? (A) These properties are well, and are in keeping with activities of the digestive forces of the body.

  2. (Q) How is my diet? (A) As has been indicated, it is very good if it is kept in line with that which has been given.

  3. (Q) Do I have Arthritis? (A) No. These effects are from the poor eliminations, and there is not an indication in the blood stream nor in the acidity of the system of there being arthritis. It is more of the rheumatic effect from the strain upon the kidneys owing to the activities, and thus producing uric acid in the system. These as we find, with the corrections and those applications as indicated, will be relieved when the corrections are made.

  4. (Q) Could I have gotten a cancer germ from [1004]? (A) As has been indicated, do not consider such. DO THAT as is necessary under the existing conditions.

  5. We are through with this Reading.
