This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at the office of the Association, Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 18th day of June, 1941, in accordance with request made by the self - Mr. [315], Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [315].

3. As we find, conditions are not so well. Those applications have not been made in the manner or way as suggested.

4. And, as we find, the inflammation has grown more serious, - that arises from the conditions in the soft tissue and antrum of the face, head and neck.

5. The basis of this, as we find, is the accumulation of poisons causing the disturbance in the head and neck and throughout the system. For, the body will continue to be affected until this congestion is removed, as well as the catarrh and the disturbance - or diseased tissue, now. This must be allayed, or such activities produced as to meet and overcome the troubles.

6. While the administrations to increase the circulation are beneficial, we find that these will not in the present remove the trouble.

7. We would now have a nose specialist use an opening into the tissue in the nasal passages to the throat, as well as into the antrums of the face; using Ichthyol, Monolated, as a basis for the treatments. Three to four of such treatments should be had.

8. Then have the adjustments, or manipulations and massage to the head and neck and throughout the system.

9. And keeping up better eliminations, using a vegetable eliminant to increase the eliminations, we may bring the bettered conditions for this body of [315].

10. Ready for questions.

11. (Q) What causes aches at times and numb feeling in lumbar area nervous system, left side? (A) All of the symptoms arise from the poisons in the system, as indicated, and the weakness which exists there. With the removal of the conditions, the stimulation of better eliminations, we may overcome all of these - in the manners indicated.

“I am feeling pretty well thanks to your guiding hand, and am indeed lost without it. For, when I seek guidance, I call humbly to you and trust that I may be able to do so for a long time to come. Yet it seems selfish of me, when there are so many who need hope, courage and guidance in these times.

“So, if you will bear with me now, please - am coming to sixth cycle of life, and if it be the will of the Master - have a physical ck. rdg., and then suggestions as to where I’m best fitted for in the services of my country. For the time draws very short and every day that passes I feel selfconscious that I have not enlisted.
